Players can level beyond the max-level in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands through the Mythic Ranks system. As the newest member of the Borderlands franchise, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands' gameplay is centered around empowering players to do crazy things. For many players, the real antics of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands will start when the player reaches the end-game. For a character-progression focused game, nothing excites players like reaching enough experience to gain a level. Once players hit max-level, this fun won't stop as players will then be gaining levels towards their Mythic Ranks.

While there is a level cap of 40, players can still gain experience towards their character after reaching max level. Instead, this experience will go towards unlocking Mythic Points that players can spend to increase their Hero Stats, Loot Luck, and many other stats. And the Mythic Ranks system runs on the same leveling system, meaning all of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands' best experience farms will still be useful for players after hitting max level.

Mythic Ranks works under a rotating skill tree system. There are four Mythic Rank Trees players will be able to put Mythic Points into: Druid, Archemage, Blademaster, and Deadeye. Players will be limited in where they can spend their Mythic Points, as players will only have access to leveling one tree at a time, with the available tree changing based on a clockwise rotation around the screen. This means that players will be forced to invest an equal amount of points into every Mythic Rank Tree as they raise their Mythic Rank.

Tiny Tinas Wonderlands Mythic Ranks Tool Tips

As players travel through Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, players will eventually unlock the Mythic Ranks system. Unlike similar systems from other Borderlands games, the Mythic Rank system does not require that the player complete the main story. Instead, this system is unlocked the moment the player's character hits level 40. After hitting the level cap, all further experience the player earns will go towards increasing their Mythic Ranks.

There is no cap to Mythic Ranks, allowing players to stack an ever-increasing stat boost as they play the game. Most importantly, Mythic Ranks are an account-wide progression system. Whenever any character on the player's account reaches max-level, they will automatically gain the benefits of, and assist in the progression of the accounts Mythic Rank. This makes it a system that doesn't penalize players from wanting to try out all the classes Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has to offer. Players can enjoy the game at their own pace, in their own way, and will still be gaining experience towards this fun end-game progression system for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.
