Players looking to make a powerful support character in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands will want to spend time leveling the Clawbringer class, Wonderlands' Paladin analogue. While the Clawbringer struggles to perform to the same extent as other classes for solo end-game content in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, a well-crafted Clawbringer can still keep up with the strongest opponents the game has to offer. On top of their still powerful solo performance, the Clawbringer brings party-wide elemental damage and damage reduction to their entire team. This can become even more ridiculous when combined with the Spore Warden's 'Wrath of Nature' to make the Clawbringer the best support class of the game.
Due to its nature as a support class, players might assume that the class would struggle to perform solo, especially while players are leveling the Clawbringer. This couldn't be any farther from the truth. Like the leveling experience for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands' Graveborn and Brr Zerker, the Clawbringer gains insane amounts of survivability and damage to demolish enemies throughout the entire campaign. The stars of the leveling experience are the early passive skills available to the Clawbringer. 'Rebuke' is a powerful damage reduction passive, while 'Dragon Aura' boosts all elemental damage dealt. This makes the Clawbringer the best scavenger of the roster, able to pick up any elemental weapon and pump out shocking amounts of damage with it, regardless of the element or weapon type. Swapping in newer equipment is fundamental to the leveling experience in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, and no class can switch weapons with as much proficiency as the Clawbringer.
Players can also unlock their class feat early in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, which provides Clawbringers with a wyvern companion. This companion acts simply as a constant source of damage for the Fatemaker. Before players find powerful weapons and spells to mow down hordes of enemies, the wyvern will be invaluable as it continuously picks-off enemy combatants. While the wyvern does not provide the defensive companion Spore Wardens may be used to, the innate tankiness of the Clawbringer makes the pure-damage nature of the wyvern a welcome addition to its kit. As players invest more skill points into the Clawbringer, this damaging companion will become a constant source of damage on the battlefield.
The Best Leveling Build For Clawbringer in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands
When it comes to Tiny Tina's Wonderlands' character creation, players will be forced to make permanent changes to their character before entering into Tiny Tina's fantasy world. Unless players already have an end-game build they are specifically gunning for with the character, the best option for character background is the 'Village Idiot' regardless of class. Early game, this will provide a 10% increase in Critical Hit Damage, which can be gained either through luck or from well-placed shots at the enemy's Critical Hit Area. Players should then invest all of their early points into Constitution until that Hero Stat is maxed out. This will provide players with increased survivability as they work through the Damage sections of the Clawbringer's skill tree.
As players gain levels in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, they will unlock skill points to invest into passive skills for their character. Players that want to live the dream of a melee character can invest in 'Oath of Thunder,' but 'Oath of Fire' is vastly superior to its Shock Damage alternative during the leveling experience. Guns deal significantly more damage before the end-game, making the damage increase from 'Oath of Fire' a more significant boost for overall player damage. Players should then invest the next five skill points into 'Dragon Aura.' This passive skill makes the Clawbringer a powerful damage dealer in the early game. Players should then put a point into 'Blasthamut's Favor' and 4 points into 'Rebuke.' As players loot n' shoot through Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, the rest of their skill points are easy to allocate, always prioritizing the passives of Higher Tiers. With a straightforward skill tree and powerful versatility, players will find little trouble defending Brighthoof from Tiny Tina's villainous NPCs.
