There is nothing like the companion builds of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, where Graveborns, Spore Wardens, and Clawbringers utilize small allies to deal out tons of damage. In addition, these companion builds utilize powerful summons to destroy bosses and mobs without needing any accuracy on the player's part. This makes these builds extremely easy for new players to Tiny Tina's Wonderlands to pilot. Unfortunately, the interactions between different types of companions and other skills and stats are obscured from the player. Because of these obscured interactions, uninformed players may struggle to create a coherent companion build.

Currently, many players are utilizing a Graveborn/Spore Warden build that abuses an exploit within the game. A bug involving the Chaos Chamber causes the game to spawn multiple Mushroom Companions outside of the player's map, with each instance of the glitch adding a new companion. These distant Mushroom companions count towards the 'Faithful Thralls' passive, ballooning the build's damage. However, this is the extent of the synergy between the two classes. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands' Spore Warden class is designed around Gun Damage, Ability Damage, and Companions, while the Graveborn is designed around Spell Damage and Companions.

To fully utilize Graveborn's unique traits, players will want to lean into Spell Damage. 'Blast Gasp' and 'Ascension,' two of the more powerful Graveborn passives, rely on a spell-based playstyle. To get the most out of the Graveborn, the best Graveborn companion build will need to leverage these passives to explode the build's damage. Combine this with the reliance on reloading to summon companions; the Spellshot is the perfect secondary class for a Graveborn companion build.

Best Gear for Graveborn Companion Build in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

Best Gear for a Spell-based Companion Build in Wonderlands

When it comes to tackling the hardest end-game content in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, players will need powerful weapons. This is especially important for a companion build, as different weapons will scale off different stats for the companions summoned by them. When it comes to a spell-based companion build, there are four weapons players should have on them:

  • Bloodshot (E) - Feriore Shotgun - Summons a Pixie on Reload
  • Fearnot (E) - Feriore Pistol - Summons a Pixie on Reload
  • Fragment Rain (L) - Feriore SMG - Summons a Hydra on Reload
  • Any Weapon - An alternative weapon, like the Reign of Arrows, used to destroy objects

Importantly, all three Feriore weapons mentioned above will utilize Spell Damage for its summon. This means that 'Spellweaving,' 'Ascension,' and 'Spell Sniper' will increase the potency of the summon's attacks, and these attacks will activate 'Blast Gasp.' The combined damage can defeat any boss phase in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands in a matter of seconds. Pixies deal more damage than Hydras but do not count towards 'Faitfull Thralls.' To get the most damage, players should alternate in groups of three between their pixie and hydra gun summoning. While the Shotgun pixies deal more damage than their Pistol counterpart, the player can hold more pistol ammo on their person. Therefore, players should use their Shotgun when dealing with a bulky enemy like a boss while utilizing their Pistol for dealing with trash mobs.

When it comes to elements, players will generally want to specialize in a single element: either Frost Damage or Dark Damage. Frost Damage specialization lets the player utilize their spells for damage, while Dark Damage will allow players to get the most out of 'Dark Pact.' Choosing an element is important for proper end-game itemization. Other than weapons, the following items are also incredibly useful for higher Chaos Levels in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands:

  • Spell: Buffmeister (L) - Zap! (Spell Damage) and Kchow! (Ability Damage) descriptions
  • Spell (Ambi-hextrous): Ice Spike (E) / Glacial Cascade (L) - A low-cooldown spell that is quick and easy to use
  • Amulet: Frenzied Wrath - Can grant up to +100% Companion Damage from its passive
  • Ward: Cursed Wit - This build will spend most of its time with its Ward depleted

This build combines high-frequency spellcasting to create hydras from 'Dark Hydra' to gain stacks of 'Faithful Thralls.' These spell casts, combined with reloading the Fragment Rain, stack up Hydra and stacks of 'Ascension' and 'Spellweaving.' Then, the player will throw out a bunch of pixies from either the Fearnot or Bloodshot, continuing the fight alternating between that weapon and the Fragment Rain. These pixies will scale off the massive amount of Spell Damage gained and cause procs of 'Blast Gasp.'  These synergies allow the Deadshot to easily compete with players exploiting the Mushroom Companion glitch, absolutely shredding the enemies in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

Best Enchantments for the Graveborn Companion Build in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

Tiny Tinas Wonderlands Enchantment Reroller Station

In Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, enchanted gear is essential to success in end-game content. However, because this build utilizes Ambi-hextrous, it cannot utilize any enchantment that procs off Active Skill usage. In addition, only the currently equipped gun's enchantment can proc at any time, and duplicate enchantments do not stack with each other. Therefore to make the most out of the skills and equipment used in this build, the following enchantments should be used:

  • Gun (Each Gun): On Spell Cast, increase Elemental Damage
  • Melee Weapon: On Spell Cast, increase Dark/Frost Damage
  • Ward: Graveborn - Increased Companion Damage on Hellish Blast usage
  • Spell 1: On Spell Cast, increase Damage Dealt
  • Spell 2: On Spell Cast, increase Ability Damage

Together these enchantments will supercharge the player, making even the final boss of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands quiver in his boots.
