Megan Fox, best known to horror fans for the cult possession comedy Jennifer's Body, is set to return to horror with the upcoming Till Death. Love and marriage may go together like a horse and carriage, but that doesn't mean marriage and hate don't often intertwine as well. The horror genre has seen many examples of marriages gone bad, often leading to one or both spouses trying to hack each other up, sometimes while trapped at an isolated location.

That type of story is what's on the menu with Till Death, or at least with a twist. Fox stars as the wife in this scenario, in what is a rare journey into the horror world. Besides Jennifer's Body, which has only added more fans in the decade since its release, Fox has no other notable horror credits on her resume. This time though, Fox will swap from playing a demonic succubus to a person desperately trying to survive a terrifying scenario.

Till Death holds the distinction of being one of the first feature films to shoot entirely during the Coronavirus pandemic, and by all accounts, practiced strict safety measures for its cast and crew on set. Till Death shot in Bulgaria beginning August 5, and wrapped production on September 12. While no firm release date is set yet, reports suggest the film will debut sometime in 2021, which makes sense, considering production has already finished.

Till Death Story Details & Cast

Jennifer's Body

The plot, such as it is, of Till Death sees Fox's character, Emma, end up handcuffed to her dead husband while being pursued by his killers as part of a twisted revenge scheme targeting him. Other cast members include Callan Mulvey (Power), Eoin Macken (Nightflyers), Aml Ameen (Sense8), and Jack Roth (Medici), but it's unclear what individual roles they play. On first read, the plot certainly bears a noticeable similarity to the scenario at the center of Stephen King's Gerald's Game, which was adapted by Netflix in 2017 to rave reviews. It's different enough that if done well Till Death could certainly succeed, but it's likely many horror fans might immediately undercut it by comparing the two, as Gerald's Game was a stunner, and a success all around.
