The TikTok versus YouTube fight takes place this weekend and will see a number of YouTubers stepping in the ring with TikTokers. This event has been a long time coming, with the organizers slowly revealing additional details over time. With the Battle of the Platforms event almost here, it’s time to take a quick look at exactly when the boxing night takes place and how much it costs to tune in.
TikTok and YouTube remain two of the most popular platforms for viral videos and creators. However, they are not exactly mutually exclusive, with many content creators utilizing both platforms to cater to the different audiences. Recently, there has been somewhat of a trend for YouTube stars to try their hand at boxing, with the most recent and high profile example seeing YouTube’s Logan Paul going the distance with Floyd Mayweather.
Following that matchup which brought together a former professional boxer and a YouTuber, this weekend will see a variety of YouTubers and TikTokers fighting against one another in an event that’s being billed as a Battle of the Platforms. After an initial date change, the YouTube versus TikTok boxing event is now scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 12. Held at the Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens in Florida, the Social Gloves organized show is due to start at 7 p.m. ET for those on the east coast and 4 p.m. PT for anyone tuning in on the west coast. It is worth keeping in mind this is the start time for the event in general. With so many bouts on the fight card, there’s no specific time set for when the main headline fight will take place.

For those planning on watching live on the night, there are a number of TikTok versus YouTube fights to look forward to. The headline matchup will see Austin McBroom representing YouTube and going up against TikTok’s Bryce Hall. Other TikTokers that are fighting on the night include Vinnie Hacker, Nate Wyatt, Micheal Le, Ryland Storms and Tayler Holder. Representing Team YouTube alongside Austin McBroom will be Deji, DDG, Faze Jarvis, Tanner Fox and AnEsonGib.
In terms of actually watching, the Battle of the Platforms is a pay-per-view event, so those interested will need to pay to tune in and watch live. There are multiple packages available which mainly differ in terms of additional merchandise, but the standard PPV price to watch is $49.99, excluding any service fees and additional costs.
