Tiger King star Joseph Maldonado-Passage's, famously known as Joe Exotic, zoo has reportedly been placed on the market by his mortal enemy Carol Baskin. Exotic and Baskin's rivalry was featured in the Netflix documentary Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness. Baskin is a self-proclaimed animal rights activist who often condemned Exotic's wildcat entertainment park. Exotic verbally attacked and threatened Baskin regularly on the talk show he ran from his zoo. Their rivalry boiled over, resulting in a lawsuit, murder-for-hire plot, and jail time. The documentary launched in March 2020 and became wildly popular as it was a great escape from the impeding doom of the coronavirus pandemic.

TMZ reports that Baskin has sold the property where Exotic ran his infamous zoo which was once known as Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park, or more commonly, G.W. Zoo. Baskin sold the zoo in June to Francisco and Nelly Vazquez for $140,000. Baskin had set some strict rules for those looking to purchase land, which the Vazquezes reportedly meet. The owners cannot be affiliated with Tiger King in any way and they can't use the property as a zoo for the next 100 years.

Tiger King Season 2 Carole Baskin return update featured

This comes after Baskin and Big Cats Rescue was granted Exotic's G.W. Zoo property in mid-2020 through the court system. Baskin was given the land in order to make up for the $1 million Exotic owed her from the trademark lawsuit that was featured in Tiger King. As G.W. Zoo transitions in ownership, Exotic still sits in prison with a 22-year sentence for his murder-for-hire plot against Baskin as well as nine counts of animal abuse. Exotic had hoped to receive a pardon from Donald Trump, but that didn't go his way either. He may face even more jail time since he is being re-sentenced.
