It's been two months since Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 released and became the fastest-selling entry in the franchise's history. Since then, a number of players have been working their way through completing Trophies and finishing up all the in-game Challenges. Now, on November 6th, there's a huge update for the game - and it's completely FREE!

There are plenty of things to do in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater after beating it, but it's still great to know new content is on the way. While most of the new, free content included in the update involves Create-a-Skater items, there's a big change coming with the new Solo Tours and lots of additional Challenges for players to complete.

One of the free updates in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 is several new in-game items to celebrate the release of Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time. These will be found in the Create-a-Skater section, with shirts, hats, and a skateboard that feature Crash, his sister Coco, and the new Quantum masks. It's a crossover event between two of Activision's comeback properties, so it makes a lot of sense, but the new content in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 doesn't stop there.

One of the biggest changes coming in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 update is the introduction of Solo Tours. This allows players to replay the THPS 1 and THPS 2 Tours currently available in the game, and in this mode Medals and Goals are reset between skaters, which makes it far easier to raise stats and max out skaters. Previous progression or completion will be moved over to a new section called Crew Tours, so players won't have to worry about losing their old Tours progress.

Fan-created decks from a recent contest will also be put into Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 through Create-a-Skater, and some small tweaks to multiplayer are also included in the update. 100 new Challenges and 10 Challenge Sets are also being added to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 for free. This means plenty of new objectives in all the game's various modes, from Create-a-Park and Combo Practice to Solo Tours and Multiplayer. All of these new challenges are designed to help Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 players reach level 100 with their skater.

This is a pretty huge update coming to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2. Thankfully, it's all completely free for anyone who already owns the game. It's a great way to keep the good times rolling, with new clothing and accessories across a variety of skate parks.
