Those Who Wish Me Dead gets an official premiere date. Academy Award-winner Angelina Jolie will star in the female-driven film directed by Taylor Sheridan, who has written Sicario, Hell or High Water, and is one of the creators of Yellowstone. The neo-Western thriller is based on the Michael Koryta novel of the same name. It's set in the Montana wilderness and follows a survival expert and a teenager who witnesses a murder; the two are pursued by twin assassins in the midst of a threatening wildfire. Koryta helms the script, along with Charles Leavitt and Sheridan. Sheridan will also produce alongside Steven Zaillian, Aaron L. Gilbert, Kevin Turen, and Garrett Basch.

Warner Bros. has now confirmed that Those Who Wish Me Dead will debut on May 14, 2021. Aside from Jolie, the cast also includes Nicholas Hoult, Jon Bernthal, Tyler Perry, and Aidan Gillen. Those Who Wish Me Dead will be one of the many films Warner Bros. plans to release in both theaters and on HBO Max.
