Thor: Love and Thunder's Jaimie Alexander wants a TV show focusing on Lady Sif with Beta Ray Bill. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Lady Sif first appeared in Marvel comics in the 1960s. Sif was most commonly associated with Thor in the comics, but she also appeared on her own as one of Asgard's fiercest warriors. Sif became an enduring Marvel character that appeared outside of the comics in TV series, movies, and video games. In 2011, the character made her first appearance in the MCU in Thor, played by Alexander.

Since Thor, Alexander continued to portray Lady Sif in the MCU. She reprised the role in Thor: The Dark World and made cameo appearances in Loki season 1 where Loki encountered Sif in a memory loop, and in two episodes of Agents of SHIELD. Alexander also voiced Sif in two episodes of the MCU's animated series What if...?. She is expected to return as Sif in the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder, which will be released on July 8. Sif has appeared in the MCU for over a decade, and now Alexander feels the character deserves her own show.

Alexander took to social media to suggest an idea for a possible Sif TV series. In a post on Instagram, the Thor: Love and Thunder actress asked what fans would want to see if the Asgardian warrior had her own series and shared that she would love to see Sif and Beta Ray Bill together. Alexander posted several pictures of Sif and Beta Ray Bill from various comics, art, and cartoons and even tagged Bill's creator Walter Simonson in the post.

Lady Sif fighting besides Thor

Alexander's suggestion might be the perfect premise for a Sif series. Although he isn't as well-known as Thor, Beta Ray Bill is one of the few who is worthy of wielding Mjolnir and was often a loyal ally to the Asgardians. In the comics, the Korbinite and Sif became close while fighting Surtur's demons which Alexander referenced in her post's tags. While Surtur died after destroying Asgard in Thor: Ragnarok in the MCU, Beta Ray Bill and Sif could still battle demons together in a series either set before Thor: Ragnarok or in a multiverse plotline.

Alexander's idea may be perfect, but there has been no confirmation of a Sif series from Marvel Studios. While some fans in the comments may be wondering whether Alexander's post is a teaser for a potential series, likely the actress wouldn't be allowed to share if there was a Sif series in development. That being said, with how fast Disney+ is expanding the MCU, a Lady Sif show shouldn't be completely ruled out. For now, fans of Lady Sif will see her return in Thor: Love and Thunder when it premieres next week.
