Fans can now purchase tickets for this November's Thor: Ragnarok, the latest offering from Marvel Studios. Despite the summer box office being one of the worst on record, a number of movies have managed to find both critical and financial success. Unsurprisingly, two of those films were from Marvel. Both Spider-Man: Homecoming and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 have posted huge numbers at home and abroad, while also receiving mostly positive reviews from fans and critics. And though Marvel still have one film left to release before they can truly call 2017 a success, things are looking good.
While the two previous Thor movies did well at the box office, they're both lower on the list of hits for Marvel Studios. Thor: Ragnarok, however, looks to change that. By adding in the idiosyncratic voice of director Taika Waititi and pulling the Hulk into the mix, Ragnarok looks to have the type of action, comedy, and unique aesthetic that will make it a huge hit. It also brings with it the promise of connecting with the Guardians franchise and feeding into next year's Avengers: Infinity War, thus increasing its buzz.

The image is a variation of a poster that Marvel released as part of Ragnarok's press set visit coverage. Along with the Thor poster, each of the main characters in Ragnarok have gotten their time in the spotlight with an official one-sheet now. Multiple Rangarok TV spots have been released at this stage too, though odds are good that the film will also get one final theatrical trailer, ahead of its release in November.
The promise of the premiere of Thor: Ragnarok also brings with it the chance to delve further into the mysteries of the MCU. While Thor will be off in his own corner of the MCU, fans will still learn about the events that brought Hulk to Sakaar in the film. They will also learn what ultimately spilt up Thor and Jane Foster, which will be essential as the God of Thunder begins to develop an interest in the powerful Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) during the events of Ragnarok. We've also been told for quite some time now that Ragnarok will have a lasting impact on the MCU, so the film is sounding more and more like a must-see for MCU fans of all types.
