Thor: Ragnarok with Chris Hemsworth now filming

Thor: Ragnarok was briefly featured during the Marvel Studios panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 to what was reportedly an enthusiastic reception. The Hulk/Thor team-up feature, which is being directed by Taika Waititi, is widely expected to be one of the most important pieces of Marvel's ambitious plans for Phase 3; and will take both Thor and The Hulk on a new journey that will cast both of them in a new light - with Hulk having recently been revealed to don his Planet Hulk gladiator armor at some point in the film.

As befits the new approach to the Thor franchise, the film has been gifted a new logo, which takes on a more colorful appearance than earlier Thor title cards. It also appears to have been inspired by 1980s sci-fi movies like Flash Gordon and Heavy Metal.
