The new Thor: Ragnarok poster for this year's D23 Expo continues to build anticipation for the film's highly-anticipated gladiator match between Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). And with Spider-Man: Homecoming hitting theaters just this past week, Marvel Studios only has one more feature film to release this year with Thor: Ragnarok, which promises to be one of the most adventurous films the studio has ever made. Directed by comedy veteran Taika Waititi, Ragnarok has a 1980s genre tone to it that makes it feel less like any of the previous films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and more like the films made by John Carpenter.

Now, whether or not the film manages to live up to all of that hype will have to wait to be seen. But if the first teaser trailer for Thor: Ragnarok and all of the film's promotional material since have made one thing clear, it's that the movie will at least feature one sequence for fans to start getting excited about. And that is, of course, the big arena fight scene between Thor and The Hulk, orchestrated and overseen by Jeff Goldblum's powerful new character, The Grandmaster.

It's more likely than not that fans will get to see some more from Thor: Ragnarok tomorrow as well, during Marvel's portion of the live-action film panel at this year's D23 Expo. And in anticipation of Marvel's presentation tomorrow, concept artist, Andy Park, has unveiled his official D23-exclusive poster for Thor: Ragnarok today, which catches The Hulk and Thor in the very midst of their brawl. You can check out the poster for yourself down below:

This month promises to be an exciting one for comic book fans everywhere, not only because of the release of Homecoming but because of Marvel's guaranteed presence at both D23 and San Diego Comic-Con. Presumably, that means fans will be getting new footage and details released from several of Marvel's upcoming titles, and as of right now, it's safe to assume that Marvel is going to be devoting a large amount of time at both presentations to showing new footage and further hyping up Thor: Ragnarok.

It's not hard to see why either since the studio is looking to close out their standalone Thor franchise with its biggest installment yet. After all, not only will Thor and The Hulk be playing large roles in the film, but Tom Hiddleston's Loki, Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie, and Cate Blanchett's villainous Hela all promise to be some of the film's standout characters. Considering just how well-received all of the footage and images from Ragnarok have been up until this point too, there's no telling just what kind of exciting new footage and details fans may be getting from the film over the next several weeks. And according to Mark Ruffalo, that also means a new Thor: Ragnarok trailer could very well be on its way.
