The hype has been building for Thor: Ragnarok for some time, and it absolutely exploded this week with the release of the trailer. The teaser trailer was packed full of moments for fans to dissect and explore, including the surprising destruction of Thor's hammer, the stunning appearance of Hela (Cate Blanchett) in all her gothic glory, and the incredible first look at a Gladiator Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) in the arena with Thor (Chris Hemsworth) himself.

Now, fans are getting into the smallest details of the trailer, re-watching time and time again (enough to make this Marvel's most-watched trailer yet). Speculation about the possible use of the final Infinity Stone has already begun, and now, an eagle-eyed fan has raised the question of whether the trailer has also revealed the Collector's fortress.

/Film's theme park consultant is the one who noticed a possible fortress in the trailer, comparing a frame from the teaser with a shot of a new attraction being built at Disneyland. In the trailer, one shot shows the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum) with a view of Sakaar behind him. Over his shoulder a building can be spotted, and it looks a lot like the version of the Collector's Fortress being built for the 'Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout!' attraction at the park. Both have a similar shape and color, although the details are hard to make out.

Grandmaster Thor Ragnarok trailer Collector's Fortress

The Collector (Benicio Del Toro) made his first major MCU appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy, although he also had a brief uncredited appearance in the post-credits scene of Thor: The Dark World. Although many speculated that he would re-appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, this doesn't look to be in the cards, although he is listed as appearing in Avengers: Infinity War in 2018.

It's certainly possible that the Collector could make a cameo on Sakaar -- he would certainly fit in among the spectators there in his outlandish outfits. A Collector appearance would also fit with the reveal of the final Infinity Stone and with the Marvel Galaxy setting for the film. At the very least, it's possible that this is an Easter egg for Disney fans, and that the Fortress will appear but not the Collector who owns it.

Of course, this is all speculation at this point, and there is no confirmation that the character or his fortress will be involved in the film. It's also important to remember that while the two buildings do have several similarities, one is not yet built, and the other is incredibly blurry. They could be completely different buildings that simply have a similar look to them.
