Warning: This contains spoilers for Thor: Love and Thunder.

Gorr's daughter in Thor: Love and Thunder is Love, a character who may be poised to play a major role in the future of the MCU. After being resurrected by Eternity, she is essentially the child of an extremely powerful MCU character, with greater powers that may soon reveal themselves. With Thor and King Valkyrie training her to be a great hero, Love may be destined to be a Young Avenger.

The MCU's Phase 4 has introduced many young heroes, and the Young Avengers team from the comics seems to be forming as a result. The franchise established the new Hawkeye with Kate Bishop, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness brought America Chavez into the mix, and Cassie Lang and Eli Bradley have also already been introduced. Wanda Maximoff's sons, Billy and Tommy, known as Wiccan and Speed, respectively, are somewhere in the multiverse and could join the Young Avengers, too. Other young heroes not part of the Young Avengers in the comics could also join the Young Avengers team, such as Kamala Khan, a.k.a. Ms. Marvel, and Axl Heimdallson, who debuted his powers in Thor: Love and Thunder. With the original Avengers scattered and working mostly on their own, the MCU is likely gearing up for the younger team of heroes the multiverse needs.

Thor: Love and Thunder introduced Love (played by the real daughter of Thor actor Chris Hemsworth), the daughter of Gorr the God Butcher, and she could be yet another candidate for the Young Avengers. It was initially her death that sparked Gorr's hatred of the gods and started him on his path of destruction using the Necrosword. At the Forge of Eternity, with the power to have any wish granted, Gorr resurrected his daughter and entrusted Thor with her safety. Thor seems to have taken that role seriously, teaching Gorr's daughter how to use her powers for good, but still letting her be a kid and enjoying her "panflaps" before saving a world. She is clearly strong with her bright laser eyes and ability to wield Stormbreaker.

What Love's Future In The MCU Could Be

Chris Hemsworth And His Daughter In Thor Love And Thunder

Many of the primary characters of the original Young Avengers team have already been introduced in the MCU, so it might not be long before the young heroes start bumping into each other. The team will need powerful members, and Love is already proving her qualifications at such a young age. Love's powers are shown in Thor: Love and Thunder, but her abilities have likely only scratched the surface. She was born from Eternity, so she is going to be an incredibly powerful being, and with Thor around to hone her skills, she will become a formidable and stellar teammate. The Young Avengers team hasn't been formed quite yet, so if the MCU is heading in that direction, within the MCU's Phase 4 or later, Love could easily fit into within its ranks.

While Love was not in the original Young Avengers, the MCU has never been against changing aspects of the comics. Gorr's child was actually originally a son, Agar. Love is not in the comics at all. The MCU could easily alter the Young Avengers' lineup to include Love and other characters that have been introduced in the MCU's Phase 4. As Love wields Stormbreaker and shows off her powers at the end of Thor: Love and Thunder, the MCU is definitely setting her up for a return as a superhero like her Uncle Thor.
