Chris Hemsworth weighs in on if Thor misses Iron Man or Captain America the most. With the Infinity Saga finished, the God of Thunder is set to embark on a brand new adventure through his upcoming film, Thor: Love and Thunder. Directed by Taika Waititi, the movie will see Thor going up against Christian Bale's Gorr the God Butcher, whose arrival interrupts his self-healing journey, pulling him back to his warrior days.

It's uncertain how long exactly the events of Thor: Love and Thunder take place after the Infinity Saga, but before facing his new adversary, Thor was with his fellow Avengers fighting Thanos in Avengers: Endgame. The Asgardian prince was more specifically with his fellow MCU Big Three, Iron Man and Captain America, both of whom also survived the snap that wiped out half of life in the universe. Once the Titan and his minions were defeated, only Thor was left active in the franchise. Tony Stark sacrificed his life for the cause, while Steve Rogers retired as Captain America to live a quiet life with Peggy Carter.

As Thor moves forward without some of his fellow MCU founding heroes, Phase Zero asks Hemsworth who the God of Thunder misses more: Iron Man and Captain America. The actor thinks about his response, and even Waititi chimes in. Read their full answers below:

Hemsworth: I don't know that Tony was ever very nice to Thor. [Thor] was the butt of every joke. He wasn't. Cap was always a little more kind of friendly know. Offscreen, Chris Evans can [throat cut gesture]. Downey's the man. [Laughs]

Waititi: In Infinity War, you'd been away for a while. Then you land back on Earth in Wakanda and no one says, 'Hello.' Really? I found that odd. Yes, they're in the middle of a battle. I get that. But like everyone just like, 'Oh, there he is.'

Hemsworth: No one says, 'Hello.' It wasn't a single, like, 'What you been up to? Your hair looks different. You look good! You had a haircut.' No, no.

Avengers 4 Endgame Captain America Iron Man Fat Thor Team Up Against Thanos

For what it's worth, Hemsworth really doesn't answer the question. He merely says that Captain America was nicer to him than Tony was, but that doesn't definitively say that Thor misses the Star-Spangled Avenger more. If anything, his whole answer was an examination of Thor's relationship with his fellow Big Three. But it's worth noting that while Captain America was kinder to him, the God of Thunder has had more interaction with the genius-billionaire-playboy-philanthropist, as the pair used to banter a lot. Perhaps he still carries a grudge against Tony for not naming Thor the strongest Avenger and choosing Hulk for the title instead, as seen in Thor: Ragnarok.

Due to his mental state in Avengers: Endgame, there wasn't much proper interaction between him and his fellow Big Three members. It was only until the final battle when Thanos appeared in the MCU Sacred Timeline that he really pulled himself together, determined to kill the villain this time following his catastrophic mistake in Avengers: Infinity War. Given that, fans will never the chance to have another lighthearted interaction featuring Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America similar to their silly but heartwarming final conversation at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
