Lady Sif actress Jaimie Alexander finishes filming Thor: Love and Thunder. Filming for the Chris Hemsworth and Taika Waititi Marvel film is currently in full swing in Australia after being delayed significantly due to the coronavirus pandemic. Things seem to be progressing quietly as actors involved are wrapping up their respective parts one-by-one.

In February, the Guardians of the Galaxy cast members were revealed to be done with their involvement, and now, it's Alexander who has finished shooting. Principal photography for Thor: Love and Thunder began in January, and while the actress never explicitly confirmed her involvement, the actress revealing that she's in Australia at the same time was more than enough for fans to believe that she's finally back as Lady Sif. This is after she was noticeably absent in Thor: Ragnarok and even Avengers: Endgame which supposedly gathered all heroes in the MCU to put a united front against Thanos and his minions.

Now, after around two months of work, Alexander is done filming Thor: Love and Thunder and is back in the U.S. The actress revealed this on her official Instagram account where she stated that she already misses Australia. Check out the screenshot of her IG Stories below:

It's unclear where Lady Sif has been in the last several years while Thor was going through arguably the most tumultuous time in his life. After the death of Odin and the destruction of Asgard in Ragnarok, he had to deal with the demise of Loki, Heimdall, and half of his people at the hands of Thanos at the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War. The breaking point for the God of Thunder, however, came when he failed to stop the Mad Titan from eradicating half of life in the universe for the sake of balance. Considering that the decimation is a universal event, surely Lady Sif would've at least felt it. Since she supposedly disappeared as well, she might be looking to get some answers as to what happened leading her to come back home to Asgard, hence her appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder.

Whatever the case may be, fans of the MCU are just thrilled to know that Lady Sif will be back in action in the upcoming Waititi Marvel Studios film. As one of Thor's most trusted allies, the God of Thunder could've used her help and support in the last several years and it's interesting if there's any change in their dynamic come Thor: Love and Thunder. It will also be curious what she thinks of the new Asgard on Earth and Valkyrie being its ruler.
