New footage of Hulk's gladiator match against Thor is included in new teaser footage from Thor: Ragnarok. With fall movie season just around the corner, Marvel Studios and Disney are starting to ramp up the hype surrounding release of Thor's third solo movie, including new images from the film, as well as international posters featuring the likes of Hela (Cate Blanchett) and the film's all-star cast, which of course, includes Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo.

And while Thor and Hulk's arena battle has been featured prominently both of the film's trailers (the most recent one of which dropped at San Diego Comic-Con), there's been little in the way of actual footage of the "Main Event" between the two titans. Apart from Hulk making a smashing entrance into the arena, Thor yelling about his "friend from work" line and the two flying towards each other to begin the battle, not much else has been revealed for fans.

That all changes, however, in a 26-second teaser released online Saturday by Marvel Studios (who are clearly capitalizing on the hype before the big fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor). The teaser appears in a tweet with the caption and voiceover of Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum) declaring, "It's main event time!", with Thor and Hulk being introduced in flashy footage akin to something you'd see in a WWE match. While the film will truly tell us how the battle really goes, the new teaser definitely favors Thor, as he continually lands gut and head punches to his mean, green friend/foe as Hulk swings and misses. See the entire teaser below:

Interspersed in the battle footage are other new clips from the film, including a brief glimpse of Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), a shot of Hela as springs head over heels into a battle against soldiers on Asgard, and another snippet of Hela going head to head with Thor. The teaser ends with previously released footage of Hulk knocking Thor across Grandmaster's arena into a wall, and Grandmaster saying, "He's a fighter!"

Like the previous Thor: Ragnarok footage, the new look definitely keeps director Taika Waititi's free-spirited, if not psychedelic tone of the film intact. There's no question that the film is going to be a definite departure from anything fans have previously seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and by all indications from the footage we've been treated to so far, it could be the most comedic.

Whether the approach works or not will be decided by fans and the pocketbooks when Thor: Ragnarok arrives in theaters November 3. In the meantime, Waititi has definitely mastered the art of commanding our attention and generating feverish anticipation for the film's release.
