Thor: Ragnarok Image: The Warriors Three Are Back!

A new image of Hogun from Thor: Ragnarok provides us with our first glimpse of the Warriors Three in the upcoming film. With Marvel's third film of the year on the horizon, more and more information and promotion has been pouring out for Thor 3. But while we await the release of the next full trailer, one big question remains: Where are Sif and the Warriors Three?

Early on, it seemed as if Sif and the Warriors Three would be sitting out Thor: Ragnarok as no word had arrived on their return. We then learned that not only would Hogun, Fandral, and Volstagg be back, but that Jaimie Alexander would return as Sif as well. All four characters have been critically underused in the films so far, and while that doesn't look to be changing in Ragnarok, their inclusion is at least a good sign. Now, we finally have our first look at one of Thor's best friends.

Comic Book Movie has a new image from Thor: Ragnarok that puts Hogun (Tadanobu Asano) front and center. While his companions are nowhere to be seen, it looks as if Hogun has begun sporting a new look since we last saw him.

From what we can see in the image, Hogun appears to be in charge of some of Asgard's forces, possibly as they go up against Hela. If that's the case, though, we could be witnessing the hero's downfall if this scene comes before the moment in the trailer when the Goddess of Death wipes out the city.

As we await more information on Thor's compatriots, Marvel has continued to promote the new film with plenty of images and videos. The latest poster for the movie may just be the trippiest yet. We even got a look at some new art from Andy Park showing off the whole cast of the film.

Meanwhile, more rumors keep emerging about the film. With Taika Waititi in charge, anything goes. But could the report that Matt Damon has a cameo in the film be true? It would be odd for such a big actor to make their Marvel debut in a one-off appearance, but perhaps the role is akin to Sylvester Stallone in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. With Thor: Ragnarok less than two months away, we won't have to wait much longer to find out.
