The cast of Southern Charm will be back on the air soon and it looks like there may be a scene between exes Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel, as Thomas did allow cameras to capture his time with Kathryn.

Kathryn is a current Southern Charm cast member and has been since the show first aired in 2014. Thomas Ravenel is a former member of the cast. They were romantically involved and had quite a tumultuous relationship. They first met when Kathryn was 21 and Thomas was 50. Kathryn became pregnant with their daughter Kensie but broke up with Thomas shortly after she gave birth. The two reunited in 2015 and she became pregnant with their second child, Saint.

According to Us Weekly, Kathryn temporarily moved into Thomas' guest house this year and cameras were able to capture all of it. Thomas apparently allowed Kathryn and the kids to move in while her house was being painted, as it was not safe for them to stay there at that time. “I just let them film a little segment with the kids as a favor to Kathryn,” Thomas told the publication, noting that he did not think Bravo would even use the footage. The former reality star appears in the premiere episode of the season, but it is unclear if he will appear in any other episodes. Kathryn moving in with Thomas for even a short period comes as a shock to many Southern Charm fans. The former couple had a lengthy custody battle. Kathryn was granted joint custody in August of 2019. She told the publication last November that she and Thomas are in a much better place now. “We actually have a great coparenting relationship. It’s good for him, it’s good for me. We’re moving forward, which is the first time I’ve said that in a long time and it feels good”. However, Thomas recently decided to try for sole custody, due to her alleged drug issues.

Fans watched Kathryn and Thomas' explosive relationship play out on Southern Charm for the first 5 seasons of the show. Thomas was fired before filming Southern Charm season 6 after he was accused of sexual assault by his children’s former nanny. That scandal happened back in 2018. He was taken to court and entered a guilty plea on those assault and battery charges in 2019. Ultimately. he had to pay a $125,000 settlement to the former nanny.

After he was fired from the series, Thomas welcomed a third child with Heather Mascoe in June. While the two were not dating when Mascoe gave birth, he revealed earlier this month that the couple did plan on getting married. He tweeted out last Tuesday, “Did anyone know I’m getting married?” Sounds like Thomas may have finally moved on from Kathryn.

The premiere episode of Southern Charm is sure to be interesting with Thomas and Kathryn living under the same roof. Tune in for the premiere of Southern Charm season 7 on October 29 at 9pm on Bravo.
