13 Reasons Why has finally come to an end after four suspenseful seasons. With so many dynamic characters, this show was filled with complex relationships between teens and parents, well developed and interesting characters, and (of course, for a teen show) some romance.

From season 1 to season 4, fans got to see a lot of couples come together, and a lot come apart. Throughout the series, there were definitely better relationships than others, so it's time to set the record straight.

Make No Sense: Winston & Monty

It's hard to talk ill of this relationship, and while it was definitely a pinnacle and intriguing part of the story-line, it doesn't really make sense that they were ever together in the first place.

It's kind of sweet and tragic, but to be honest - these two characters have absolutely nothing in common. In fact, Winston should be the kid that Monty was shoving into lockers.

Best: Tyler & Estela

There is definitely still some debate over this, but there is not much to really hate when it comes to two struggling and unlucky characters who can find happiness in each other.

Both went through extreme trauma, and could really come together over it. And more, these two are both cute as a button and totally sweet.

Make No Sense: Clay & Ani

While Clay himself was definitely a controversial character when it came to fan-favorites, it was probably agreed upon that no one really wanted him to see anyone.

This list will simply ignore the fiasco of Skye and Clay, and focus mainly on the random relationship, and quite honestly, character that Ani had and is. They were far too alike, and it's a wonder they ever got anything done at all.

Best: Diego & Jessica

All fans will admit that they hated Diego's guts, and that they certainly wanted Justin and Jessica to end up together. Of course, that's most likely out of everyone's love for Justin and wanting what he wanted.

On the outside looking in, Jessica and Diego make way more sense as a couple. They both are ambitious and confident, and were definitely 'that' couple in high school.

Make No Sense: Bryce & Ani

There's certainly a lot of controversy and debate over Bryce Walker and everything to do with his character. Of course, the same could be said about Ani and her spontaneous entry into the third season.

Among everyone, it makes no sense that these two were ever paired. In a weird attempt to get sympathy for Bryce, the show only proved to fans that Ani is a terrible person, and makes zero sense.

Best: Charlie & Alex

This was a new relationship on the series, but it immediately became one of the best the series had to offer. Alex was always a fan-favorite, and he certainly had his kind and witty heart to love.

Charlie was a secondary character, but there really wasn't anything to dislike about him. Plus, he brought out the best in Alex. This prom king and king are a special kind of relationship.

Make No Sense: Zach & Hannah

This was from way back in the first half of the show, but it's probably not something that fans will forget cringing at. Hannah and Clay never got together, but no one wanted to see her get together with Zach.

It may have just been a summer fling, but it really makes no sense why these two characters would have a love affair. They had literally nothing in common, and every reason to despise each other.

Best: Matt & Lainie

There is certainly reason enough to give some of the parents on this show some love, especially when it comes to having a strong relationship. Matt and Lainie were so in love, but they also constantly supported and trusted each other.

They stuck strong through everything with Clay and Justin, and they still remain totally sweet and hilarious. This power couple is definite relationship goals.

Make No Sense: Justin & Jessica

Lots of fans might totally disagree with this statement at first, but they'll have to at least partially agree with its sentiment. At the end, fans definitely knew that Jessica's and Justin's love was pure and real.

However, besides the fact that they would literally die for each other, there wasn't much that made sense about them being together. From trauma to just straight personality, it was almost fitting that they had to split, regardless of how sad it was.

Best: Tony & Caleb

Tony is an interesting characters, and fans' love for him was definitely all over the place. Still, it's no secret that he and Caleb are one of the best couples on the show and two of the best characters in general.

They're unconditional love and support for each other is something everyone should desire, and throughout everything that happened - these two never faltered. They're a definite power couple.
