Destiny 2: Season of Splicer increased the rewards pool for playlist activities, making the grind for ideal weapons even harder when it comes to specific things that players are looking for. Fortunately, there is no limit to how many times a player can attempt to earn their weapon of choice. Each Playlist activity, like Crucible, Gambit, and Vanguard Strikes, in Destiny 2 that awards players with weapons and gear at the end of matches can be repeated as many times as players desire.

This makes the hunt for the perfect weapons easier because players don't have to wait a week for everything to reset like they do with Pinnacle and Powerful gear. Nonetheless, the grind still requires patience as it can take hours, even days, to find the weapon God Rolls. Destiny 2 players aren't always so lucky with receiving gifted weapons like the Null Composure Fusion Rifle. For weapons like the Third Axiom, Destiny 2 players are sometimes required to play the same activity over and over again to get the weapon roll that they're looking for.

Destiny 2: Third Axiom Pulse Rifle (& God Roll)

Third Axiom Destiny 2

The Third Axiom is an Adaptive Frame Pulse Rifle, which gives the weapon a well-round grip, making it sturdy, and reliable. The Third Axiom is an Arc Energy weapon and was originally introduced in Season of the Chosen, but it can still be earned as a reward for Vanguard Strikes or Vanguard faction ranks. The only real problem is that the Third Axiom has a large perk pool, and still has to compete against the Royal Entry and Empty Vessel for Strike rewards. Finding the perfect Third Axiom may take some time, but with any luck players searching for it will have another potent weapon in their arsenal.

  • Disruption Break (PvE)

These perks are the ideal perks, but the Third Axiom can still drop with some additional perks that aren't entirely useful. It might be best to find the Third Axiom with the ideal Legendary Traits and call it good from there. Fortunately, Guardians can multitask while farming for the perfect Third Axiom. Destiny 2's Vanguard Strikes also rewards players items like Corrupted Key Codes so be sure to keep this in mind while hunting for the perfect Third Axiom.

For players looking to get the perfect Third Axiom, a great build would be a roll with Corkscrew Rifling, Richochet Rounds, Subsistence, Rampage. This build is perfect for both Destiny 2 PvP and PvE, and an increase to the Third Axiom's Range stat when Masterworked is great when Subsistence is equipped. Many players know that the Subsistence perk partially reloads a magazine after a kill.

Pair Subsistence with Rampage, which temporarily increases damage up to three times after kills, and suddenly players are in a position to take on two or three enemies easily in Destiny 2's PvP. Ricochet rounds are a nice touch, adding +5 Range and +10 Stability, as well as bouncing rounds off of surfaces. The Corkscrew Rifling is just icing on the cake, adding +5 Range, +5 Stability, and +5 Handling to the Third Axiom's stats. Consider pairing the Third Axiom with a close-range weapon like the Riiswalker Shotgun or The Last Word Exotic Hand Cannon for an accurate and deadly PvP loadout.
