ThinkGeek Now Has Marvel Clothing Line

Popular geek brand ThinkGeek has made a new line of clothing perfect for any Marvel fan. The company is known for creating fun products from a wide array of fandoms - from films, TV shows, comic books, video games, anime/manga, and everything in between. They sell everything from the usual clothing and Funko Pops to a home gadgets like an R2-D2 coffee press and Pac-Man Ghost lamp.

Wearing your favorite fandom on a shirt is nothing new, but recently more and more brands have strived to create different kinds of geek wear. It's not just men's t-shirts anymore, but dresses and skirts, hat, jewelry, and bags that fans can purchase to show off their love. It's like a game; there is something fun about wearing a subtle symbol of your favorite show or movie to see if anyone else notices.

ThinkGeek's new line of clothing, called "Gear Up", is full of "wearable, comfortable looks that blend easily into your current wardrobe." It was created in partnership with Marvel and another well known geek brand, Mighty Fine. There are a number of items from Marvel's most recent films including Guardians of the Galaxy and Spider-Man as well as the upcoming Thor and Avengers: Infinity WarThe prices range from $19.99 for some of the t-shirts (the Spider-Man henley and the one featuring Thanos) to $69.99 for the Avengers Army jacket. The new line by ThinkGeek features items for both men and women. There is a Galactic Guardians of the Galaxy dress, as well as more stylish and form fitting t-shirts. There is even an infinity gauntlet scarf. The clothes go up to 3XL, so they are great for geeks of all sizes. Indeed, more and more brands have begun including all different types of clothing, for all different kinds of fans. Brands like Her Universe, Black Milk Clothing, and Elhoffer Design have made a name for themselves by making fashion forward geek clothing, especially for women of all sizes. It's nice to see other companies starting to doing the same and at relatively affordable prices.
