Netflix's upcoming slasher horror movie There's Someone Inside Your House is officially coming to the streaming service in 2021; here's everything we know about its release date, cast, and story details.

There's Someone Inside Your House is directed by Patrick Brice of the Creep movie series. It is based off of a 2017 novel of the same name written by Stephanie Perkins. The author is predominately known for her works in young adult fiction, but her debut horror book showcased her talents in the genre. Its success led Perkins to pen another horror novel titled The Woods Are Always Watching, which will release in August of this year. Netflix continues to prove to be a powerhouse for book to movie or television series adaptations, especially with Mike Flanagan's The Haunting Of Hill House and The Haunting Of Bly Manor. When Slasher moved to Shudder late last year, it was only a matter of time until they picked up new slasher content. Given the popularity of the sub-genre in recent years, There's Someone Inside Your House will likely relish in it upon release.

There's Someone Inside Your House Story Details

Due to the fact that There's Someone Inside Your House is adapted from a novel, its plot is fairly accessible and has been since the project was announced. It follows Makani after she moves to Nebraska to live with her grandmother. As high school graduation approaches, a killer emerges with the intent of exposing all of their deepest, darkest secrets. While this sounds similar to Assassination Nation and Tragedy Girls, There's Someone Inside Your House's killer dons a mask that resembles their victim's faces. Makani and her new friends must figure out who the nefarious person is before they're next. Netflix's slasher flick There's Someone Inside Your House will officially hit the streaming service in February 2021 with an impeccable cast, talented director, and horrifying story.
