No matter how many baddies Rick Grimes and the group that followed him managed to defeat, somehow there was always another threat around the corner. Whether it was the Wolves or the Saviors, there were always villains who were ready to take advantage of the weak and unsuspecting.

The Walking Dead's characters have faced off against all manner of enemies, and they've suffered dearly for it. But, if you were a villain on The Walking Dead, who would you be, based on your zodiac sign?

Aries - Shane Walsh

Shane holding a rifle in The Walking Dead

For all of his faults as a human being, one thing that can never be said about Shane is that he was afraid to act or do what he thinks needed to be done. The problem is, most of what he thought needed doing was wrong or downright evil.

If an Aries became a Walking Dead villain, Shane is undoubtedly the one they could relate to the most, as he takes control of the situation and becomes a leader of the group.

Taurus - Owen

OWEN The Walking Dead

Out of all of the Wolves, Owen is really the only character that the audience got to know well, and like most villains, he was eventually killed by the group.

But he is similar to a Taurus in the sense that once his mind was made up about something, it was borderline impossible to convince him otherwise. Morgan did eventually seem to get through to him a little bit, but like a stubborn bull, he was reluctant to change.

Gemini - The Governor

The Governor in The Walking Dead

Geminis get an unfairly bad rap in the zodiac world, but that is only because they are excellent at showing certain parts of themselves to certain people.

They are quite similar to The Governor in that way, because Philip was great at hiding his darker aspects from those that he didn't want to see them. He was excellent at appearing like a friendly, reliable guy to most of Woodbury's residents, but when he was around people like Merle his more sadistic side came out.

Cancer - Dwight

Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Austin Amelio on AMC's The Walking Dead

Dwight had to do a lot of dark things to become one of Negan's right-hand men, but the driving force between his villainous turn was always his love for his wife Sherry.

That doesn't excuse his behavior though, and his grim insistence at being the one to torment Daryl felt like he wanted revenge against a man for being kind to him, while all of his behavior as a whole felt like the emotional lashing out of a Cancer.

Leo - Negan

Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan in The Walking Dead

Some villains in the Walking Dead world like to keep things low-key, but others really like to put on a show. And no one has a bigger appreciation for showmanship than Negan.

If a Leo ever became the villain of an apocalyptic wasteland, they'd be just like Negan. They'd have an easy time getting others to follow them, and they'd really dial up the drama when it came to introducing themselves to rival groups.

Virgo - Gareth

Gareth in The Walking Dead

Virgos are the type of people who are just great at getting things done and making sure that they're done right.

While cannibalism obviously isn't something they'd like to resort to, they, like Gareth, would want to be as efficient and effective as possible if they ever did get to the point where they had to feed on their fellow man. Gareth looks out for his own people no matter what as well, which, in a strange way, mirrors a Virgo's tendency towards loyalty too.

Libra - Gregory

Gregory standing in a field on The Walking Dead

Although most Libras are much better talkers than Gregory was, one way in which this leader of Hilltop and the sign of the scales is similar is that they are reluctant to ever take sides.

Libras are great at seeing from everyone's point of view, which sometimes makes them a conversational contrarian, but also makes them the type to avoid ever deciding what side they're on. For all of Gregory's faults, his biggest problem seemed to be his reluctance to choose a team and stick with them.

Scorpio - Jadis

Pollyanna McIntosh as Jadis Anne in Walking Dead

Out of all of the adversaries that Rick and his group have faced over the many seasons of the series, Jadis and the trash people were undoubtedly the strangest.

However, like a Scorpio, Jadis likely liked things that way. Scorpios aren't afraid to be different and they like to lean into their mysterious nature. And, similarly to Jadis, they don't work well with others trying to manipulate them or tell them what to do either.

Sagittarius - Joe

Joe and Daryl in The Walking Dead

A lot of the villains in The Walking Dead seem to take a lot of glory and pleasure out of ruling over other people or hurting their enemies, but a Sagittarius is unlikely to make themselves the ostentatious king of their own castle.

They're more likely to be someone like Joe. Yes, they are the leaders and they make the rules, but they aren't overly concerned about everyone knowing that they're in charge, and they really just want to have a pleasant and easy time.

Capricorn - Beta

Walking Dead Reveals Beta Real Identity

Capricorns are a zodiac sign who love tradition and stability, and although they are capable of a great deal on their own, they also shine when they can devote themselves to something they can truly believe in.

Like Beta, a Capricorn isn't particularly flashy or in need of appreciation or approval, they get the most satisfaction out of contributing to whatever matters to them, and they are loyal to a fault too, just like Beta is to Alpha.

Aquarius - Alpha

Alpha The Walking Dead season 10 Midseason Finale

Much like Alpha, most people born under the sign of Aquarius don't feel like they quite fit into the world, or that the world is as it should be.

So, when an Aquarian or someone like Alpha gets the opportunity to completely reimagine society and create it into something that they think would work, they're more than happy to do it. Similarly to Alpha, an Aquarius isn't going to feel trapped or beholden to the rules of the world before.

Pisces - Nicholas

The Walking Dead Season 6 - Glenn & Nicholas

A few hallmarks of a Pisces is that they are emotional and sensitive, and while there are plenty of Pisceans that are built to survive the apocalypse, many others just wouldn't see the point.

Nicholas obviously got off on the wrong foot with Glenn, and he kept making the situation worse because he wanted to hide the fact that he was so inept, but in the end, he seemingly realized that no matter who's help he had, he couldn't cut it.
