The final part of season 11 of The Walking Dead will air in October, bringing an end to the long-running series. While there's always been something to love in the series, there's also continued to be some aspects of the show that outraged viewers.

There have been dozens of decisions, events, and character plot lines that fans have had their disagreements about. However, some decisions made by various main characters throughout the series were so annoying that some fans just have not gotten over them.

Leaving Sophia In The Woods

Sophie stands in front of a wooden door after being turned into a walker.

Sophia's death was important to the storyline in the second season for a couple of reasons. It taught the group that a missing person was likely a dead person, and it taught the audience that no characters, even children, were safe.

However, some fans can't get over the scene in which Sophia went missing, which inevitably led to her death. Reddit user SSpotions thinks one of the stupidest decisions made was "no one else running after Sophia and the two walkers except for Rick who had only been in the apocalyptic World for a week." Though her death was a clear catalyst, it was frustrating for some viewers not to see others take action.

Lori's Drive

Dale and Lori in The Walking Dead.

Despite the fact that Lori is sometimes an unpopular character among fans of The Walking Dead, her death was tough for Carl, making her loss an emotional point in the third season. However, viewers thought her decisions were so ridiculous that they inevitably would have led to her death.

Reddit user dumb_revolutionist believes her stupidest decision was when she went for a drive to find Rick, saying, "Lori not paying attention to the road, this is just general road safety and it being the apocalypse makes it more important." Her death was a tragedy for her family, but people can't get over how ridiculous some of her decisions were.

Andrea Shooting Daryl

This scene was such a small part of season 2 that it's nearly forgotten by many viewers. However, some fans can't get over how irritating Andrea was as a character, especially when she shot Daryl, just short of killing him.

One Reddit user thought one of the most annoying decisions in the show was "Andrea not listening to the others and shooting the “walker” aka Daryl." This is one of the many reasons why viewers had a hard time with Andrea's character from the beginning. Though it was respectable that she wanted to be strong, her determination also led to some bad calls.

Beth Stabbing Dawn

Some events altered many characters throughout the series, including how Beth's death changed Maggie. While Beth was a secondary character for a large portion of her screen time, after the prison fell, she quickly became a fan favorite.

Reddit user AccordingMobile6103 thought one of the most ridiculous things to happen on the show was "Beth stabbing Dawn. That was a really dumb and impulsive decision and it got her killed." Some viewers argue that Beth knew she would die and wanted to make the sacrifice to stop Dawn and save Noah. However, some fans can't get over how her storyline ended so abruptly.

Denise's First And Last Run

When they got to Alexandria, Rick quickly dealt with one of the biggest problems in the community, but in turn, killed off the only educated doctor. This left Denise as the sole person with any medical knowledge.

Reddit user s8n_isacoolguy thought one of the stupidest actions on the show was "Daryl and Rosita bringing the only doctor they have to clear out an apothecary." While others can argue Denise was an adult and was going to do what she wanted, the group had certainly forced people into doing things they didn't like. Viewers can't get over that going on a run with her led to her death.

Attacking The Saviors

When the group first encountered the Saviors, they were unaware of what a threat the villains would become. However, viewers are still angry over the fact that Rick's group went to attack the first outpost without any investigation into the group.

Reddit user A_Good_Azgeda_Spy thought one of the worst decisions in the show was "Rick agreeing to wipe out the Saviors at the satellite station without doing any recon at all." Alexandria was desperate for the food and supplies the Hilltop would offer, but these viewers still can't get over that they went in without doing any surveillance.

Daryl Punching Negan

The reality of The Walking Dead universe is that people die. However, many fans believe Glenn didn't deserve to die. There's no doubt that Negan's sadistic nature led to Glenn's death, but other fans think Daryl is also to blame.

Reddit user LongjumpNight said, "Negan did warn them that if one of them stepped out of line again there would be consequences." These fans aren't necessarily justifying Negan's actions but reminding others that Daryl was told what would happen if they disobeyed him. This viewer is convinced Daryl had a hand in Glenn's death as much as Negan.

Rick Trusting Jadis

The first time Rick made a deal with the group that lived at the landfill, Jadis chose to betray him and work with Negan. Despite this betrayal, Rick chose to go back to her later on and ask for her help once again.

Reddit user OneEyedCoral said, "I couldn't believe when Rick went to see the garbage people a second time (and AGAIN to work out a deal) after they had already betrayed him once at Alexandria." Rick had a tendency to not trust people the first time he's double-crossed. This decision proved how desperate he was, though it doesn't make these viewers any less annoyed by the choice.

Gregory Trying To Kill Maggie

Gregory in The Walking Dead played by Xander Berkeley

From the moment Gregory was introduced, he was one of the most easily dislikable characters in the series. He was often making decisions that wouldn't put him in harm's way, convincing others to do his dirty work.

One of the worst decisions Gregory made was attempting to have Maggie killed. Reddit user Rei-Ren said, "I find him the funniest character for this exact reason. Like how can someone be THAT dumb." Others might argue Gregory made decisions that benefited his own well-being, but his rash decisions led to his execution. Though his actions fit his character, fans can't get over how ridiculous he was.

Daryl's Romance

From the beginning, Daryl Dixon was a loner. As time went on, he became a valued member of the group but continued to like spending time away from others. His loner tendencies led to his meeting with Leah.

Though some viewers were excited to see Daryl get a shot at a happy relationship, it was clear his two worlds didn't fit. Reddit user AmadeusAzazel said, "I feel like Daryl’s entire romance with Leah was a pretty bad decision." These viewers can't get over the fact that Daryl's entire romance storyline was one bad decision after another, leading to her to turn into a villain.
