In 2015, The Voice coach Gwen Stefani and Bush vocalist Gavin Rossdale ended their marriage of 13 years. According to certain reports, Gwen’s heart was broken when she found out that Gavin had an affair with their nanny. The discovery triggered the divorce and resulted in lasting issues between the two musicians. Before her solo career as a popstar, Gwen Stefani was the lead singer of the rock band No Doubt. She met Gavin in 1995 while they were on tour. Gwen opened for Gavin’s band in London and they began a long-distance relationship shortly after. After dating for six years, Gavin asked Gwen’s father for her hand in marriage in 2002.

At the wedding ceremony, which took place in London, The Voice coach wore a white and pink Dior gown designed by John Galliano. About two years into their marriage, it was discovered that Gavin was the father of a teen runway model named Daisy Lowe. Despite how shocking it was for Gwen to find this out, she accepted the situation and kept on with the marriage. Over the next decade, Gwen and Gavin had three sons together: Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. Unfortunately, the marriage took a nasty turn in 2015.

At the beginning of 2015, Gwen Stefani discovered that Gavin Rossdale was having an affair with their family nanny, Mindy Mann. Not much is known about Mindy except that she’s Australian, is in her twenties, and was the nanny to Gwen’s children for three years. Gavin was having an affair with Mindy for the entire duration of her employment. Their relationship was discovered by Gwen when nude photos of Mindy and racy texts were brought to her attention. After this incident, the married couple filed for divorce and submitted the following joint statement, “While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment.” In the aftermath of the divorce, it was discovered that Gavin also had an affair with Courtney Love earlier on in his marriage to Gwen. The terms of their divorce included shared custody of their three children.

About three years after their divorce, Gwen and Gavin went into mediation over their current custody agreement. At the time, Gavin had just finished a Bush tour and wanted more time with his kids. An insider revealed to E! that, “Gwen believes that she provides a consistent living environment and that the kids should be with her the majority of the time. They are older now and taking their school work and activities seriously. She thinks Gavin still very much lives a rock star lifestyle and it’s in the kid’s best interest to be with her.” The couple still has joint custody over their children, which has continued through the COVID-19 lockdown. But Gavin lives in California, whereas Gwen lives in Oklahoma with her now-fiancé Blake Shelton.

Understandably, Gwen had issues with her ex-husband because he cheated. Even though they’re divorced, it’s a challenging situation to overcome. Moreover, she’s incurred issues with his lifestyle and how it impacts the lives of their children. An extra layer of complexity has been added to their relationship because of the coronavirus pandemic and the fact that The Voice coach is now engaged to Blake.
