Judge Grants Kelly Clarkson A Temporary Restraining Order Against Trespasser

Now, TMZ reported that a judge has granted Kelly Clarkson's request for a temporary restraining order until a hearing later this month. Kelly asked for protection from a woman who she claims made multiple unwanted visits to her home. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Kelly requested the temporary restraining order against a 56-year-old woman named Huguette Nicole Young. The American Idol winner is also ensuring that her family, her nanny, and her house manager are protected from the woman.

The documents filed by Kelly's attorney Ed McPherson say that the alleged harassment began at the end of October. Michael Lopez, who says that he has been running Kelly's security for the past five years, said that the trespasser has come to Kelly's home at least 18 times, and has often left notes and gifts for Kelly on her porch, including dog toys, stickers, plants, and seeds. The legal documents also state that another security guard once told Huguette that she was being filmed on camera and was trespassing. She apologized, but continued to return to Kelly's home after the warning. Kelly has requested that Huguette is kept at least a football field away from her home, her job, and her children's school. TMZ had also reported that Kelly's security called LAPD to file a report. Law Enforcement sources informed TMZ that the department's Threat Management is investigating the matter.

Stalkers are a serious matter that many famous people deal with, but they can quickly become very dangerous. Although this trespasser does not seem to want to cause Kelly or her family any harm, her unwanted visits to Kelly's home must stop. Kelly's two young children, 8-year-old River Rose and 6-year-old Remington "Remy" Alexander, must be kept safe. It is a good thing that Kelly was granted the temporary restraining order. Now she can have peace of mind that this woman cannot legally visit her home anymore.

As fans eagerly await Kelly's return to The Voice, they are concerned for her safety and well-being. However, Kelly's temporary restraining order is a good sign that this matter will be dealt with appropriately and hopefully resolved quickly. Fans wish Kelly the best as she moves forward from this unfortunate situation.
