The Voice coach Blake Shelton wished his wife Gwen Stefani a happy birthday in a heartfelt Instagram post. Gwen recently gushed about how proud she was of her and Blake's country duets. Blake released two songs featuring Gwen, "Nobody But You" and "Happy Anywhere," which are both in his wheelhouse of country music. Gwen, who previously focused on more rock and pop-sounding songs, thanked Blake for welcoming her into country music. Blake even joked about adding Gwen to every song he makes from now on.

The couple, who were coaches on The Voice together, also made headlines about their summer 2021 wedding. In an interview on SiriusXM's The Highway, Blake spoke about how some of his friends felt snubbed that they weren't invited to his wedding. Blake and Gwen had a small ceremony, so not that many people could be invited. Blake talked about all the awkward conversations he's had to have with his friends, telling them that his wedding isn't about them and they should move on from it. The newlyweds also opted not to go on a honeymoon, but to stay home and relax instead. It's unfortunate that Blake's friends felt snubbed by him, but it's his wedding, and there is still a pandemic happening, so it's ultimately his choice who to invite.

Blake took to Instagram to celebrate Gwen's birthday. "Happy birthday to my better half.. my WIFE!!!!" Blake captioned the post. "I love you @gwenstefani!" The caption accompanied a black and white photo of Blake and Gwen on their wedding night. Country musician Jenee Fleenor commented her support for the couple on the birthday post. "@blakeshelton...fer goodnesssake take the girl muddin’ today!! HBD @gwenstefani!!" Jenee wrote. Ole Red, a restaurant and music venue inspired by Blake's hit song, also wished Gwen a "Happy birthday" in the comments.

Gwen's wedding dress, which is featured in the birthday post, was designed by the well-known Vera Wang. Vera actually designed both of Gwen's dresses that she wore on her big day. She revealed that Gwen and Blake's names, as well as the names of Gwen's three children, were hand-embroidered into the hem of her veil. While Gwen's first dress was longer and more traditional, her second dress was shorter and more fit for the reception. Both of the dresses that Vera designed looked beautiful on Gwen.

Fans of The Voice will be happy to see that the celebrity couple is doing well. Both Gwen and Blake are talented artists and the music they make together will continue to make their fans happy. Maybe Gwen will even make a cameo on The Voice since Blake is still a coach on season 21, alongside Ariana Grande, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend.
