The fans love OG coach Blake Shelton on The Voice, and outside of the show, the country star has sold millions of albums over the course of his career. When Blake joined the cast of The Voice season 1 back in 2011, many country music fans were already well aware of him. Alas, there was also a huge portion of the general audience that was just getting to know him better. Through his many years on the show, Blake has been able to entertain people and turn them into fans of his. He's also had many opportunities to promote his new albums and singles.

In 20 seasons of The Voice, Blake Shelton still holds the record for most wins as a coach. Specifically, seven contestants from Team Blake have gone on to win the show: Jermaine Paul (season 2), Cassadee Pope (season 3), Danielle Bradbery (season 4), Craig Wayne Boyd (season 7), Sundance Head (season 11), Chloe Kohanski (season 13), and Todd Tilghman (season 18). Over the years, Blake has also seen his fair share of coaches come and go. It was also on The Voice that Blake got to meet his fiancée Gwen Stefani, and where he made new friends such as Adam Levine and John Legend.

With that said, many casual fans of The Voice may not realize just how popular and successful Blake Shelton really is outside of the show. Adding up all of his 12 studio albums, Blake sold as many as 10 million records during his career - a very impressive feat. Blake has two best-selling albums that definitely stand out from the others: 2011's Red River Blue, which sold 1.2 million copies, and 2013's Based On A True Story..., which sold 1.4 million copies. Other notable mentions include his 2012 holiday album Cheers, It's Christmas and 2016's If I'm Honest, as each of those albums sold over 600,000 copies.

Blake Shelton is also known for having a successful streak of hit songs, many of which he was able to promote while appearing on The Voice. Altogether, he has sold a whopping 30 million singles over the course of his long career. Blake's biggest hits include "God's Country", "Boys 'Round Here", "God Gave Me You", "Nobody But You", and "Honey Bee", to name a few. Currently, Blake is promoting his upcoming album, Body Language, which is scheduled for a May 21, 2021 release.

From the looks of it, Blake isn't leaving The Voice behind anytime soon. If anything, he is more invested than ever as a coach, and has basically become synonymous with the series. The fans love watching him on the show, and he gets to be his cheeky self season after season.
