Adam Levine may consider himself to be sexier than Blake Shelton. The former judge on The Voice called Blake Shelton's Sexiest Man Alive title a "downgrade" in a recent Instagram Q&A with fans. The Maroon 5 lead singer confirmed he would never return to the show while also poking fun at his former fellow judge and friend, Blake Shelton. Adam and Blake were judges on The Voice together from the show's start in 2011 up until Adam's departure following season 16.

When The Voice first premiered in 2011, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green all sat alongside each other as they blindly chose singers to be on their teams. As the seasons went on, many celebrity judges have come and gone from the show. Fans were shocked when one of the original judges, Adam Levine, announced he would no longer be a part of the show following season 16. He and fellow judge Blake Shelton were fan favorites as they would constantly bicker and joke around with each other. Adam was replaced by Nick Jonas who will return to the show for season 20 as a replacement for Gwen Stefani. The 19th season of the show just wrapped up in mid December and Gwen Stefani took home her first win when Carter Rubin was crowned the winner.

Adam Levine does not seem to think Blake Shelton is all that sexy after all. Us Weekly reported that Adam agreed with a fan who referred to Blake Shelton's Sexiest Man Alive title as a "downgrade" in a recent Q&A. Adam engaged with his fans on his Instagram Stories on Monday with a fun game of Question and Answer. A fan asked Adam, "Do u think blake also being the sexiest man alive was a People's downgrade?" Adam responded to the remark by putting his thoughts into one single "100" emoji, agreeing with the statement. In response to a different question, he referred to the title as "silly but flattering." Adam received the title in 2013 four years before Blake received it in 2017. Adam continued to poke fun at Blake when a fan asked him which of Blake's albums is his favorite. Adam responded sarcastically asking, "Who is this Blake you speak of?"

Adam did not end his conversation about the show or Blake there. Another Instagram follower questioned whether or not Adam misses his fellow judge Blake Shelton. Adam sarcastically pretended to not even know Blake yet again, writing, "Blake who?" Later in the Q&A, Adam politely responded "no thank you" to ever returning to The Voice. There were in fact some questions that did not revolve around The Voice or Blake Shelton. Adam shared that his favorite Maroon 5 song is "Sunday Morning" and that he knew he was famous "when people started hating."

Do Adam Levine and Blake Shelton really not get along anymore? The Voice judges seemed so close when they were on the show together as they would bicker and poke fun at each other in an effort to win over singers. The two made the show funny and more entertaining. Maybe Adam's responses to the questions regarding Blake was just his sarcastic sense of humor. Fans will have to wait and see if Adam will be invited to Blake and Gwen Stefani's wedding to get some type of answer.
