Cam Anthony has been crowned the winner of The Voice season 20, and the fans couldn't be happier about this spectacular ending to a landmark season. The viewers of NBC's The Voice were introduced to Cam Anthony during his Blind Audition to Sam Smith's "Lay Me Down". Cam identified himself as a 19-year-old aspiring singer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In reaction to Cam's Blind Auditon, coaches Blake Shelton, John Legend, and Nick Jonas turned around their red chairs, with Kelly Clarkson being the only one missing out.

Longtime fans of The Voice know that there are quite a few obstacles in this competition, and many contestants end up stumbling and never recovering. Alas, Cam established a truly stellar track record for himself all season long. He won the Battle round against Emma Caroline, who was so good that she was stolen by another coach. Then, Cam survived the Knockout phase against the very talented Connor Christian. When the live shows started out, Cam was the one singer from Team Blake Shelton who was voted by the public to stay.

As The Voice season 20 went on, Cam Anthony kept impressing the public and earning their votes to stay in the game. He was one of the four singers saved by the fans in the semi-finals, and then got to the finale as one of two Team Blake contestants (alongside Jordan Matthew Young). It is now official: Cam Anthony was crowned the rightful winner of season 20. Cam's best moments on The Voice include his Blind Audition, of course, but also his performances to Justin Bieber's "10,000 Hours" and Hozier's "Take Me To Church".

Upon being crowned the winner of The Voice, Cam Anthony is now close to reaching 75,000 followers on Instagram. He is a confident but extremely down-to-earth young artist who was able to captivate not only the fans but also all four coaches. Cam's dynamic with Blake Shelton was also extremely entertaining to watch, despite how improbable these two were as a pairing. In the end, Blake stuck to his gun and stayed confident that Cam Anthony would make it all the way to the end. Cam was never dropped by his coach, meaning that he stayed on Team Blake from the beginning to the end.

The 20th season of The Voice was a huge landmark for this long-running series. 10 years in, NBC is still very confident in this reality competition, which now occupies the same space in pop culture as a juggernaut like American Idol. Now, onto season 21, which will feature first-time coach Ariana Grande.
