Amazon Prime's new coming-of-age romance series, The Summer I Turned Pretty dropped last week, and already it's been renewed for a second season. Following Jenny Han's bestselling trilogy, the series sees Belly Conklin through her 16th summer at her family friends' beach house. Unlike other summers, Belly finds herself caught in a love triangle between the two Fisher brothers, Conrad and Jeremiah.

While fans will have to wait a while for season 2, there are some movies that have the same feeling that The Summer I Turned Pretty does. From love triangles and romance to hot summer nights, these movies have that nostalgic, sunny feeling that viewers loved so much about The Summer I Turned Pretty.

While the summer-loving mentioned in Grease isn't explored in detail, it's spoken about by both Danny and Sandy with great affection. They gave everything to their relationship over the summer, a lot like Belly trying her best over the summer to give her all to make her feelings for Conrad known. Pride and Prejudice 2005 Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen as Elizabeth Bennet and Mr Darcy

This adaptation of the classic Jane Austen novel by the same name is everything viewers would want from a romantic drama. Elizabeth Bennet is a reluctant protagonist who puts her own worth above any romantic relationship, which is unheard of for the time. While her older sister is busy in the middle of a courtship, Elizabeth finds herself drawn to the mysterious Mr. Darcy, who is reluctant to pursue any type of relationship with her.

2005's Pride & Prejudice is more drama than The Summer I Turned Pretty, but it has the same aesthetic. Much to Elizabeth's dismay, she realizes she's in love. Where Belly admits this feeling right away, both of them struggle to act on their emotions, confused and overwhelmed by these feelings. Both are headstrong leads who refuse to bow for anyone, making for an interesting watch as their love life unfolds.
