The cast of The Resort is an eclectic mix of major stars and recognizable faces that help to make the Peacock original series such a compelling show. The Resort follows a couple on their Mayan Riviera vacation at the Oceana Vista resort who gets wrapped up in a mystery that involves disappearances from years past. Eschewing the typical approach to its mystery story, The Resort deftly blends humor into its narrative for an engrossing mixture of tension and laughs. Though very much plot-driven, the show also put its emphasis on its characters which not only made it more interesting but more engaging as well.

The Resort's first season polarized fans but was met with resounding approval from critics with particular praise being given to its lead actors and its jaunty approach to storytelling. The Resort joins a long list of original programming that has taken the streaming world by storm and is generally considered one of the best shows on Peacock. The success of the series was due in no small part to the stellar cast of The Resort, and it was notable names that roped in viewers who were later hooked by the show's outstanding writing.
