With The Real World Homecoming: New Orleans set to premiere later this year on Paramount+, reuniting the cast of the original New Orleans series, interest in the long-running reality TV show is still high. When a group of 20-somethings is put into a house in a new city with people they have never met, there are bound to be a few conflicts, but sometimes beautiful friendships emerge from the situation. The Real World has been bringing people together since the early 1990s, and the show has spawned some serious romances.

The show brought people together who, in their everyday life, may not have been friends but found themselves lifelong pals in The Real World house.  Even though some of the pairs don't see each other anymore, these bromances will live on in reality tv history.

Chet and Ryan - Brooklyn (Season 21)

The Real World revisited New York for the third time in 2009. Housemates Chet and Ryan became fast friends and a fan favorite bromance. The two were together a majority of the time and weren't afraid to be physically affectionate with each other. Both had similar interests in art and making music in their free time.

After the show concluded, Ryan was sent back to Iraq for military duty, and Chet had some hosting gigs. The two have seen each other since the show and are still friends.

Mike and Jay - London (Season 4)

The Real World season 4 cast in London

The Real World: London was one of the least exciting seasons of the show. The cast of The Real World: London didn't mesh as well as in other seasons, but that didn't stop Mike and Jay from forming a friendship based on high jinx and exploring the nightclub scene.

With both of the men having trouble finding work, they were left to their own devices much of the time. Both Mike and Jay were seen as lazy by their fellow cast members but had fun anyway, partying together more than anyone else in the cast.

Wes and Nehemiah - Austin (Season 16)

What started as a competition as to who could hook up with the most girls ended in a beautiful friendship. Wes and Nehemiah partied hard on their season of The Real World, but by the end of the season, they both started to settle down and seek more serious relationships.

Their hook-up competition didn't leave any hard feelings between them as the two still see each other from time to time when Wes isn't competing on The Challenge. Most recently they hung out in Kansas City together according to Wes's Instagram.

Cory and Brian - Ex-plosion (Season 29)

For fans who love the drama of The Real World, Cory and Brian were the show's best bromance. The two became friends during some of their time on The Real World Ex-plosion in San Francisco. They would often go to lunch together and even showered at the same time in the house's unique dual shower.

However, this bromance was not meant to last as Brian and Cory had several fights during the last episodes of the show.

David and Nathan - Seattle (Season 7)

The Real World Seattle Cast

David and Nathan were the first cast members to enter the house, already knowing each other. As the houses only established friends, viewers were interested to see if the friendship would last in the new environment. The two connected initially over their family and personal struggles.

However, the two stood by each other's side throughout their time in Seattle; even when Nathan's girlfriend starts a fight with him, David steps in to defend him. The two only had one minor disagreement in the house but quickly made up and continued their friendship.

Aaron and Dominic - Los Angeles (Season 2)

Cropped Real World LA Cast

Dominic and Aaron entered season 2 of The Real World as total opposites. Dominick was a rocker with a love of working in entertainment, and Aaron was a conservative business major. Despite their differences, the two became best friends.

The two often did things on their own, leaving the rest of the house to wonder if they were excluding them on purpose. There was no malice in their actions; they just liked spending time together and getting to know each other. The two are still friends, and both decided not to return for their season of The Real World: Homecoming.

Leroy and Michael - Las Vegas (Season 25)

On one of MTV's wildest seasons of the show, Leroy and Michael formed a friendship that no one saw coming. Michael was a nerdy kid from Virginia who had a tough childhood. Leroy was a sanitation worker with his eyes on Hollywood; he also had a hard time growing up and was in foster care.

It may have been their upbringing or maybe just their situation, but the two became friends who went on several adventures together on the show. The two reunited to compete on The Challenge together after their season wrapped.

Jon and Dominic - Los Angeles (Season 2)

Jon and Dominic were another pair in the Los Angeles house that people didn't expect to become friends when they were introduced to the show. However, their passion for music, even though it was rooted in vastly different genres, gave them a common ground.

Dominic supported Jon's dreams of becoming a country music star by giving him rave reviews at the club he worked at and getting the crowd excited before performances. Dominic dropped Jon off at their airport when the show ended.

Pedro and Judd - San Francisco (Season 3)

Season 3 of The Real World: San Francisco introduced Pedro Zamora and Judd Winick to each other. The two quickly became friends. Judd was always supportive of Pedro and never judged him for having AIDS. Sadly Pedro passed away in 1994 before he could attend The Real World reunion show.

Even though they only knew each other for a short time, Judd continues to carry on Pedro's memory by posting candid photos he took while in the house and continuing the conversation about AIDS and AIDS treatment. Judd has said that Pedro made a profound impact on his life (via Yahoo!).
