The Real Housewives of Dallas are no strangers to drama. From D’Andra’s off-and-on business relationship with her own mother to Kameron’s ill-advised pink dog food brand, there’s always something going on for the housewives of the Lone Star State. However, few housewives have created as many bizarre and outrageous television moments as LeeAnne Locken.
Though LeeAnne recently decided to leave The Real Housewives of Dallas, she certainly left her mark on the show. Some fans felt bad for LeeAnne; she grew up in the dysfunctional world of the carnival. However, it didn’t always explain some of her strange behavior and decision-making. So, let’s look at the 10 times Real Housewives fans questioned LeeAnne’s Choices.
Accusing Cary’s Husband of Infidelity
When LeeAnne announced that she wanted to get breast implants, no one foresaw how dramatic the event would become. The surgery itself went fine. It was the events that unfolded after that left fans shaking their heads.
While LeeAnne was supposedly still coming down from the anesthesia, she started ranting to Brandi about Cary’s behavior and even her husband. Then, this unforgettable quote came out of her mouth: “She [Cary] is gonna come for me one day and it isn’t gonna be pretty. Her husband gets his d*ck sucked at The Roundup.” The Roundup is purportedly a gay club in Dallas, so this accusation was not taken lightly by Cary or the rest of the housewives.
“They Are Just Hands...”
During the same drug-fueled rant in which she accused Mark Deuber of infidelity, LeeAnne took things a step further. At least, that’s how it seemed. To this day, it’s not entirely clear what LeeAnne was trying to say.
After discussing Cary’s husband, LeeAnne went on to say this: “I didn’t grow up with a silver spoon in my mouth; I grew up with a lot of things in my hands...but they’re not knives, they are just hands...I [can] put them to work quite well.” This sounded like a threat, but it also didn’t make much sense at all.
The ‘Bad Breath’ Incident
LeeAnne started (and ended) a lot of fights with her fellow housewives. However, when she decided to get close and personal with Cary during a group dinner, LeeAnne got an insult she wasn’t expecting.
As Cary listened to LeeAnne’s yelling, she informed LeeAnne that her breath was terrible. However, this didn’t stop LeeAnne in the slightest. In fact, she doubled down by yelling, “Good! I hope it smells like dog sh*t!” Many fans couldn’t really wrap their heads around that one.
Broken Glass
In just about every Real Housewives show, there’s at least one housewife who smashes a wine glass (or even flips a table) in anger. In The Real Housewives of Dallas, LeeAnne nominated herself as the queen of broken glass. On at least two occasions, she smashed her wine glass in a blind rage.
During the same conversation in which Cary accused LeeAnne of having bad breath, LeeAnne stood from her chair and screamed in Cary’s face. She prefaced her tantrum by smashing her wine glass on the floor, mere feet from the rest of the cast. This put many fans against her, as no one wants glass shards flying in their face.
Flipping the Bird
After giving Cary the other women her two scents, LeeAnne stormed out of a restaurant. She had clearly had enough and wanted to go home.
However, when Tiffany tried to bring her back inside, LeeAnne just kept on walking and flipped her the bird. Fans didn’t appreciate the way she turned her back on her “friend” and ally.
Attacking the Cameraman
This situation didn’t improve after LeeAnne stormed out of the restaurant, either. This started a fight between LeeAnne and Tiffany that turned physical. LeeAnne simply wanted to go home, while Tiffany wanted her to come back and make peace.
After fighting with Tiffany, LeeAnne turned her rage on the crew. She pushed a cameraman out into a busy street. She then escaped the chaos entirely by taking off her shoes and walking through traffic.
Couch Surfing
LeeAnne and D’Andra were the best of friends throughout most of Seasons 1 and 2. However, things weren’t always so amiable.
When D’Andra put her finger in LeeAnne’s face during an argument, LeeAnne jumped up on the couch like a tiger ready to pounce. She eventually left the conflict entirely, proclaiming “my weave is exhausted.”
Carnie Style
Not all of LeeAnne’s antics were caught on camera. After a night of drinking, LeeAnne woke up some of the other housewives by screaming at Marie and breaking glass. According to Cary, LeeAnne even threatened to go after Marie “carnie style,” whatever that means.
Accusations of Alcoholism
LeeAnne has discussed her special relationship with alcohol on the show. She supposedly had difficulty with alcoholism in the past. Unfortunately, she thought this made her the moral arbiter of the group.
On two separate occasions, LeeAnne publicly accused her castmates of being alcoholics and sloppy drunks. Naturally, she made these reactions behind their backs, but the offended parties did not take it well. Both Brandi and D’Andra eventually confronted her about these unfounded accusations.
Getting Wild and Crazy
LeeAnne is known for her strange, comic-book style looks and wide-eyed, even unstable reactions. Her odd behavior was on full display during Brandi’s college-themed party. When Brandi and D’Andra confronted LeeAnne about spreading rumors, LeeAnne reacted poorly.
