Mike is forced to make a life-changing decision when Holly reveals she’s going back to Colorado to help with her family. The proposal takes place in the Garage Sale episode in the seventh season. This is arguably Michael’s most emotional moment as he proposes with everyone in the office holding candles. Some fun is added when the sprinklers go off following the fire detector causes it.

Pam Beesley has a huge moment for her character after she finally gains courage to express her feelings. Beach Games featured Michael Scott trying to figure out which employee should replace him as the regional manager of the branch if he gets promoted like he expected.

Pam is the one that surprises everyone by running through the flaming coals. Upon gaining the courage, Pam calls out the rest of the office for not coming to her art gallery. The Merger

The storyline of The Merger featured the Stamford branch moving into the Scranton branch with everyone working under Michael Scott. Jim returns to the branch after a long stint away that kept the audience waiting to see him and Pam interact again.
