The Office is full of fan-obsessed relationships, but while viewers love to watch Dwight and Angela or Andy and Erin together, some of the best relationships aren't romantic at all. It goes without saying that Jim is one of the most popular Dunder Mifflin employees, and though he likes to keep to himself, he has been known to extend himself to the people he likes most.

It goes both ways too, as employees can't help but be charmed by his charisma, whether it's Michael or Stanley. And even Jim's arch-nemesis became his best friend by the end of season 9.

Andy

Andy annoys Jim by singing in the car in The Office

This relationship hasn't always been friendly, as it was essentially Jim who led Andy to anger management after Jim hid his phone as a prank. But after Dwight punched the wall, Jim seemed to cool down on pranking him and he knew his limits. It was after that when Jim and Andy became friendlier.

Even in his mid-thirties, Andy still needs direction in his life, and the one who gives him that direction is usually Jim. However, the relationship seems to be a little one-sided, as Jim doesn't get as much out of it as Andy does.

Oscar

Oscar Martinez gives an awkward smile to the camera in The Office

The bond between Jim and Oscar has gone largely unspoken, and for the most part, completely unnoticed. However, though they don't spend time together outside of work, it makes total sense that they'd respect each other in the office. Oscar has done some bad things, but just as Jim is the most normal on the sales team, Oscar does the best he can to keep the accounting department sane.

But what makes it obvious that there's some kind of unspoken friendship between them is a Shamrock keychain that Oscar gifted to Creed for Christmas. Jim ends up with the keychain in the Yankee Swap, and, three years later, it could still be seen attached to Jim's keys. Anybody else would have thrown it away.

Kelly

Jim plans Kelly's birthday in The Office

It wasn't clear how close Kelly and Jim were until they fell out. It wasn't even clear to Jim until he realized he was the only one without a party favor, as Kelly was so upset that he didn't attend her America's Got Talent viewing party.

When the Party Planning Committee was dissolved and it was up to him (and Dwight) to throw Kelly a party. And what makes it so obvious that there's a bond between Jim and Kelly is that Kelly didn't care that the decorations were terrible, she was just happy that Jim decorated the room.

David Wallace

Jim and David Wallace in a meeting in The Office

David Wallace always saw potential in Jim, but anybody would when he's essentially the only sane person sitting in the middle of a group of borderline psychotic employees. But the boss went out of his way to do the very best for Jim to stay with Dunder Mifflin, and that's why David Wallace was the best CEO.

Not only did Wallace promote Jim to "co-manager," but he even allowed him to work part-time while setting up his own business. Few bosses would ever do such a thing. And though it's in a boss' interest to keep their best employees happy, Jim wasn't exactly the best, meaning that David's actions were just as much friendly gestures as they were business savvy.

Stanley

Florida Stanley talking about living fast on The Office

Fans have all been Stanley at work, trying to get away with the bare minimum, but he was still willing to work late for Jim when he thought he was stuck in jury duty. Even when it was revealed that Jim was lying, and he was actually staying at home with Pam and the kids, Stanley told him to go back home and he'd continue to cover him.

On top of that, though Jim might not have totally felt the same way, Stanley treated the work trip to Tallahassee like a lads' vacation. The two were cruising around in convertibles, drinking while working, and rinsing the hotel room mini-fridges.

Phyllis

Though she may have arguments with Pam from time to time, Phyllis gets along with Jim like a house on fire. Helping people in their time of need is one of the reasons why fans love Phyllis, and she's done that for Jim almost more than anyone. It's almost as if the sales team are like a frat, as they actually look out for each other more often than not.

Phyllis has had Jim's back on several occasions, most notably when Jim needed her and Stanley to help with his workload while he set up his new business. Though she teased him quite a bit and took advantage of him when they went out for dinner, she was more than happy to help him out.

Michael

There might be times when the friendship becomes toxic, as Michael often becomes jealous of Jim so much that he gets angry at Jim's success. But regardless of that, they arguably have the best bromance on the show.

Jim honored Michael at the office Olympics for closing the deal on his condo and he supports Michael at Cafe Disco. It isn't one-way either, as Michael has given Jim surprisingly helpful career advice, and Jim has confided in his boss when it comes to relationship problems too. But more than anything else, they love singing karaoke together.

Pam

There's no denying how in love Pam and Jim are, and while working, they're always helping each other prank Dwight. However, it's still a friendship full of ups and downs where they don't always see eye to eye while working. The couple has their issues, and they almost broke up in season 9.

Though they often talk about how great it is to live with and work with their soulmate, it sometimes looks as if it'd be much easier if they worked for different companies. But in the end, there are still very few hiccups for two people who spend 24 hours a day together.

Dwight

An old photo of Jim and Dwight in The Office

There are so many famous relationships in The Office, whether it's Dwight and Angela, Michael and Holly, or Kelly and Ryan. But no relationship blossomed over the course of nine years more than Jim and Dwight. They have overcome so many obstacles together.

Their relationship began as a heated feud full of mean-spirited pranks, and it ended with Jim being Dwight's assistant to the regional manager. It even led to Jim briefly being Dwight's bestich mensch at his wedding. And as Pam has been absent from the show at certain points, such as when she went to New York to study, Dwight was always been Jim's rock.
