Due to the success of The OfficeNBC announced in 2006 that the show would release a string of webisodes attached to the series that would show a different side to the characters. They started with 10 episodes under an umbrella called The Accountants and after it caught on with fans, NBC produced more.

Thanks to YouTube, Office fans from around the globe can watch the show's webisodes for content that they won't find in the original series. Although the webisodes don't star every character from the show, the storylines are equally hilarious. To find out which webisodes are worth watching, take a look at all nine of them ranked below!

The Accountants

the accountants - the office

The Accountants was the first series of webisodes NBC released. The string of 10 episodes did so well that it even won two awards for comedy and was the beginning of even more webisodes. In this webisode series, the accountants are trying to find out who stole $3,000 from Dunder Mifflin. Angela, Oscar, and Kevin are on a secret search party to find out who took the $3,000 and what they may have spent on it. We see them interview Meredith, Creed, Phyllis, etc... to find out who had the intention of stealing.

It's at this point in the series where Kevin hasn't reached full Kevin Malone status. He's dry, quiet, and doesn't have the same quirky remarks as he does in the fourth season. Due to Kevin's dryness, this webisode is worth the watch but not as great as the rest.

The Podcast

The Podcast came out in 2011 and shared three episodes. In this webisode, Gabe is jealous that he's being upstaged by Oscar. Oscar started a blog on his free time that revolved around accounting and decor and Jo from Sabre loved it so much, she added his blog to Sabre's homepage.

Gabe would do anything to be recognized by Jo so he created a podcast. Sadly for Gabe, no one understood what a podcast was and it caused issues in content and production, causing Gabe to grow annoyed of his co-workers. Overall, this webisode was comical but the best were still to come.

Blackmail

In case there are any Creed fans out there, this webisode is all about Creed. In "Blackmail," Creed is seen blackmailing his co-workers for money. He starts off by telling Oscar he had some very intimate footage of him on film and he should give him what he needs before he releases the video.

After watching the film Creed had, Oscar realized it was a video compilation of him walking to his car and scenes from the movie Milk. Once Oscar wasn't scared of Creed blackmailing him, Creed went to everyone else in the office for money. Eventually, the office teamed up against Creed until they realized the amount Creed was asking for. All he wanted was $6...

The 3rd Floor

In 2010, The 3rd Floor was released and showed even more hilarious moments from Kelly, Ryan, and Erin. Prior to this episode, fans of The Office should watch Subtle Sexuality for some backup content revolving around Kelly and Erin's need for stardom but this webisode is still gold.

Wanting to be famous, Kelly and Erin convince Ryan to hire them for a movie he was producing on Dunder Mifflin's grounds. It was a horror movie, which required Erin to dress up in a scary way and hunt down Kelly. By the end of the webisode, viewers get to see the movie Ryan created and it's totally worth a watch.

The Outburst

Throughout The Office's nine seasons, Oscar is seen as the smartest and most composed out of the office. This webisode (The Outburst) plays on that fact by showing Oscar's first outburst at work. The webisode came out in 2008 with Oscar yelling at someone on his phone at work. The entire office is shocked that Oscar reacted in such a way and try to get to the bottom of what happened.

Kelly tried snooping through his phone, Andy tried getting into his email account, but none of it worked. Oscar eventually told the office what made him so mad and to say they were disappointed would be an understatement.

The Mentor

The Mentor is such incredible work, it's a shame it never aired on TV. In this webisode that released in 2010, we find Erin bored of her job. She wished to be as collected as the accounting department and asked the group if they'd be willing to help her. Shockingly, Angela tells Erin she'd be her mentor because she sees great promise in Erin. Not only did Angela teach Erin how to do her job but she taught her how to dress, sit, and behave.

She practically tore Erin and Kelly's friendship apart and taught her how to be the bad guy in the office. Sweet and naive Erin was so torn on how to behave that it made her snap.

The Girl Next Door

Before watching The Girl Next Doorviewers should watch the webisode Subtle Sexuality. This webisode is a followup to that webisode's success and it's pure genius.

In this webisode, Erin and Kelly are talking about their girl group Subtle Sexuality in a documentary of sorts. With Kevin as the "Scranton Music Critic," he acts as the show's host. They talk about the highs and the lows of the group before deciding to create a new song to outshine their one hit. They call it "The Girl Next Door." By the end of the webisode, viewers get to see the finished music video for "The Girl Next Door" and it's just as good as Subtle Sexuality's "Male Prima Donna."

Kevin's Bank Loan

Kevin Malone is so pure of heart that he can do no wrong. But in Kevin's Bank Loan, he does a lot wrong. The webisode starts off with Kevin asking Oscar how loans work. As a professional accountant, Kevin should have the answers to everything he's asking Oscar but it's clear he has no idea what he's doing. Throughout the episode, Kevin is in need of money to pay off his bookie.

He decides to ask the bank for a loan for his business idea (Malone's Cones) but use the money to pay off his bookie instead. His idea falls flat when he has no idea how to run his makeshift ice cream company but it sure is amazing watching him try.

Subtle Sexuality

If there are any Kelly and Erin fans, the webisode Subtle Sexuality is for you! This webisode has got to be one of the best. It's unique, it's catchy, and it shows Dunder Mifflin's Andy, Ryan, Kelly, and Erin in a completely different light.

Kelly and Erin team up with Andy and Ryan to create a music video. With a song already written, Kelly and Ryan get into one of their classic fights, which leads to the beauty of the music video that rolls by the end of the webisode. It's very Lady Gaga, it's very Kelly Kapoor, it's pure goodness in an eight-minute video.
