Searchlight's comedy-horror film The Menu boasts a star-studded cast of recognizable names, including a few award winners like Anya Taylor-Joy and Ralph Fiennes in starring roles. Directed by Mark Mylod from a screenplay by Seth Reiss and Will Tracy, The Menu follows a group of wealthy people who travel to an island to experience the exclusive menu of a celebrity chef but soon get more than they bargained for. Offering a bitter look at the state of fine dining, The Menu left its mark through its shocking use of violence and darkly comedic themes.

The Menu had its premiere at the 2022 Toronto Film Festival and was released in theaters on November 18th, 2022. Met with largely positive reviews from critics, The Menu was especially praised for the performances from its cast and its satirical execution. Though the storytelling was superb, and The Menu's ending was deliciously appropriate for its dark satire, it was still the cast of The Menu that was its strongest aspect.
