The Masked Singer group C championship is just days away and fans all are still trying to find the identity of their favorite performers. Who is Night Angel and do the clues support the previous prediction or point toward someone new?

The prediction for Night Angel, from her first performance, has been The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss. While Burruss herself has remained expectedly quiet on the rumors, her fans have not. Her fans were certain they recognized her voice and for weeks the clues have been lining up to go along with that theory. This week she secured her place in the group C championship with a phenomenal performance of Lady Gaga's song "Million Reasons." While fans have remained steadfast that this is the former Xscape band member, the panelists haven't seemed to have gotten the memo and came in with guesses like Sia, Regina King, Taraji P Henson and even Jessica Simpson. The new clue package, however, clearly helped confirm it is Burruss under that mask.

The first of the new clues came when Night Angel described having been lost in the crowd while surrounded by other angels. Viewers were shown three other night angels. Kandi was famously in the girl group Xscape which had two other members. There was a pitcher of tea that could either point to her being from the South or all the tea spilled on RHOA. There was a castle and a berry shown, which is yet another reference to the restaurant Burruss owns as it is located in the Castleberry Hill neighborhood. There was a comment about how she built an empire. While some took this clue to mean the show Empire, in this case it was talking about building a literal empire. Buruss has definitely built one and the internet is full of articles, specifically about how she built that empire. Lastly, she spoke of her destiny bringing her back to the stage. Burruss wrote several articles for girl group Destiny's Child.

The week one package showed a motel specifically focusing on the doors for rooms 4,5 and 6. Burruss did a song with singer Solé called "4,5,6." Inside the doors were various scenes. One of the biggest clues linking to the Real Housewives star was four elderly women with weapons. Burruss owns a restaurant in Atlanta called Old Lady Gang. The clue package also focused on a room key with the number 2 which fits with the time she joined the Real Housewives franchise. Buruss joined The Real Housewives of Atlanta during its second season. The party scene in the last motel room would be referencing the song "Tardy for the Party"  by fellow Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak, which Burruss co-wrote.

With Night Angel's skill and popularity, she is a shoe-in for the super nine. It's doubtful she's going anywhere anytime soon. However, this week will give us a new set of clues that will likely be able to convince anyone still on the fence that Night Angel is in fact, Kandi Burruss. More importantly, we have another heavenly performance to enjoy. For any quarantine viewers new to the show, we welcome you. The Masked Singer has something for everyone.
