The Mandalorian is a show filled with action, and while Din Djarin is more than capable of holding his own with his fantastic fighting ability, along the way he makes plenty of allies. Din starts out as a true lone ranger, but as he travels around protecting Grogu, he quickly realizes that the help of others is crucial in succeeding in that.

While some of the help he gets is fairly forgettable, such as Frog Lady, there are other characters who bring a lot to the series. Whether it be their fantastic fighting skills that help Din Djarin in sticky situations or their personalities, there are plenty of amazing allies that he meets along the way.

Cobb Vanth

Cobb Vanth isn't around as much as some of Din Djarin's other allies, which is why he doesn't make as much of an impact. However, he is still a brilliant character who brings a lot of energy and confidence with his Western feel, which brings him and Din together nicely.

The fact he happens to have some Mandalorian armor instantly brings tension between the two characters, but the fact he stays true to his word in giving it back to him if they work together is something that proves his character. He is talented in the fight as well, which also helps to make him stand out.

Peli Motto

Peli Motto holds Grogu in her arms as she looks in the distance in The Mandalorian.

Unlike the vast majority of Din Djarin's allies, Peli Motto isn't around to help him fight his enemies. Instead, she is a glorified babysitter for Grogu, looking out for him while Din heads out on his journeys, while she also works as a mechanic to fix his ship.

However, what makes her stand out is the hilarious personality that she has. Peli brings a great amount of humor with some funny one-liners, and the connection that she has with Grogu is actually one of the strongest in the series.

Greef Karga

Carl Weathers brings a great performance in this role as a man that works hard in doing his job as the leader of the bounty hunters, which is why he has a great connection with Din Djarin. While there are times when the true nature of his decisions can be questioned, Greef Karga ends up being a loyal man.

He's quite a wise character and that is something that proves to be beneficial to Din at several points within the series. He might not be one of the most exciting or flashy characters, but he is certainly someone who audiences find memorable.

Cara Dune

Gina Carano as Cara Dune ready to fire her gun in The Mandalorian.

Unlike Greef, Cara Dune does bring a lot of personality into her character, as well as plenty of action. The fact that she can hold her own against Din Djarin instantly makes her interesting, with audiences immediately taking notice of her, but she continues that strength throughout the series.

She brings some hilarious facial expressions which often end up being far funnier than most people expect it to be. But the fact Cara is quite serious in tone is something that actually differentiates her as an ally, which is a lot of fun.

Migs Mayfeld

Migs Mayfeld gets to have some nice one-liners, which brings the best out of Bill Burr as an actor, but he also brings a lot of emotion as well. Because he starts out as a former stormtrooper, it is interesting to see how his personality changes as he sees things from a different perspective.

It is also great to see the impact he has on other characters, with the things he has experienced playing a big impact on how people think. He ends up working well and gaining Din Djarin's trust, which is clear when he actually takes his helmet off and allows Migs to see his face.

Ahsoka Tano

Of course, having a Jedi in the show instantly made Ahsoka Tano a memorable character, as she is so different from everyone else. However, she's not one of the most interesting allies at this point, mainly because there isn't too much backstory or true personality developed with her.

However, her fight scenes are epic to watch, and having a Jedi in the show was needed for casual audiences. Plus, she really does open up the world as to who Grogu truly is, revealing his name and really explaining information that other characters can't provide.

IG-11

IG-1 is an amazing character that has a true redemption story within this show. Someone that was set up to murder Grogu ends up being transformed into a character that protects him, and that story within itself is one that makes him a fascinating character.

Because of his robotic nature, IG-11 is able to come out with some brilliant one-liners that are a lot of fun to see and add a little comedy to his character. But it is the tension between him and Din Djarin that makes IG-11 so important, as Din goes from hating robots and failing to trust them to seeing them in a different light thanks to this character.

Bo-Katan/Koska Reeves/Axe Woves

Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze in Mandalorian

This trio of Mandalorians are intriguing characters, and they're best ranked together. While it is Bo-Katan who brings the most personality, both Koska and Axe are vibrant and exciting characters to have around due to their fighting abilities.

They're great to watch in a battle, but Bo-Katan is the focus, and the tension that is clearly being set up between her and Din Djarin really makes her one of the best characters. It's clear there's a lot more to come from her, and the fact she's a true badass helps to make her an intriguing character.

Boba Fett

Boba Fett in The Mandalorian

Boba Fett is one of the most iconic Star Wars characters of all time, and simply seeing him back kicking ass is something that audiences loved. He's a talented fighter and adding him to the series was a great decision, with his personality really being able to thrive here.

He's an iconic character that fans instantly gravitated towards on the show, and seeing him build a friendship with Din Djarin is something that everybody appreciated seeing. He is a brilliant character who brings a great deal of excitement to the show, which instantly makes him an important ally.

Kuiil

Nick Nolte and Misty Rosas as Kuiil looking in the desert in The Mandalorian.

Kuiil is the ultimate ally within the show, who might not be fighting side by side with Din Djarin, but he provides wisdom, advice, and great help at countless points throughout the show. Kuiil has some great one-liners which make him quotable and comedic at times, while his backstory is also an emotional one.

He feels like a quintessential Star Wars character, being someone who is a different species just makes him stand out without even doing anything else. But the fact he has such a fleshed-out personality and he gets a strong bond with Din Djarin only helps make him even stronger.
