The Moldarach is one of the many bosses players will come across in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD. This guide will show players how they can defeat it. Skyward Sword HD originally released back on the Nintendo Wii has the console's premiere Zelda title. In the original, every single sword movement to come from Link was tied to the Wiimote, allowing players to slash at enemies with special precision. With the Nintendo Switch version, players are now able to move their blades using the analog stick as an option. The game features tons of smaller quality-of-life improvements that make it stand above its predecessor. While exploring the surface, players will come across dangerous bosses at the end of every dungeon. This guide will show players how they can defeat the Moldarach boss.

The Moldarach boss is the final enemy in the Lanayru Mining Facility but also makes an appearance later down the line in the Lanayru Sand Sea. This giant scorpion has three different weak points that players will need to exploit to win this battle. Fortunately, this is one of the easier bosses in the game and teaches the players to keep a sharp eye at weak points. Here is how players can defeat the Moldarach in Skyward Sword HD.

How To Beat The Moldarach in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD

In order to defeat the Moldarach, players will need to slash at the eyes within its claws when they are revealed. The goal here is to lock on one of the eyes and wait until the claw opens up. Once the claw opens, push forward and slash it on the eye. Make sure to back away when it looks like it's about to attack. Now, just repeat this process for the second claw. Once both claws are taken down, Moldarach will switch its moves a bit.

It will dive underground and attempt to sneak up to the player. It's fairly obvious where it will go so use the Gust Bellows to remove the sand from it. This will resurface it and allow players to do jabs directly into the eye. Players will just need to do this a few times and it will be defeated. Now, grab the Heart Container (or not if the player wants a higher challenge) and continue to the next destination. This boss will teach players to be patient to take it down.
