The King of Queens, which aired on CBS from 1998 to 2007, has come out with nine successful seasons. If two episodes receive the same score, the one with more votes will be ranked higher on our list. It’s time to head out to New York’s biggest borough. Here is how every King of Queens finale stacks up on IMDb.

Buy Curious (7.5)

Doug and Carrie read from a board in The King of Queens

After Doug and Carrie’s neighbor passes away, they sweep up his house so that they can flip it and make a profit in the Season 7 finale. However, one of their other neighbors, Lou, has an eye on them. Things definitely don’t come easy when they realize the house isn’t worth as much as they want to sell it for.

Though the set up for this episode was funny and definitely had a strong voice, being that it appeared later in the series, it didn’t have the lasting memorability of later season finales.

Maybe Baby (7.6)

The Season 1 finale foreshadowed the series finales to come. If you couldn't tell from the title, Doug and Carrie think about having a baby in this episode. This consideration comes after Doug plays with Kirby, and the Palmers reveal that Kelly is pregnant with another child. As Doug and Carrie linger on the possibility of having a kid of their own, Arthur has his own flashback to the day Carrie was born.

Though there were several episodes between this one and the end of the series that paid no attention to the Heffernan's prospects of having kids, it was still good to see it get a nod so early on.

Whine Country (7.8)

Carol and Doug in bed in The King Of Queens

Doug and Carrie end up on one heck of a vacation as a result of not being able to agree on a destination. Though Carrie wants to travel through Europe, specifically France, Doug would rather rent an RV. To settle the dispute, the couple flips a coin that sends them straight toward Doug's big idea. Wanting Doug to move on from the whole RV thing, Carrie invites Arthur along on the trip in an attempt to make Doug change his mind. However, this plan backfires when Doug asks Spence to come with them, too.

The funny setup combined with the escalating scenarios made the Season 2 finale a keeper.

Acting Out (8.1)

Season 8's finale has Carrie sending her father to a retirement home after she realizes she can't deal with him living in the basement anymore. This decision comes after Arthur stars a fire downstairs. Though Doug is at first on board with Carrie's idea, he starts to reconsider after he learns that Arthur was once an actor but gave up his dream to raise Carrie. This has him feeling that they owe Arthur a place under their roof. Meanwhile, a subplot has Danny and Spence arguing over who gets the bigger room on their two-year roommate-iversary.

This episode played on the sentimental notes just as much as the humorous ones, making it a comprehensive.

Pregnant Pause: Part 2 (8.1)

Part one of the Season 3 finale has Carrie panicking over how she and Doug would handle her accidental pregnancy. Part two, on the other hand, has Doug taking on an extra job as a limo driver to pay for a baby and dealing with Arthur's constant complaints about the bathroom downstairs. The stress causes Doug to pass out, though, by the conclusion of the episode, it is revealed that Carrie has lost the baby.

This ends the episode on a somber note and had fans wishing for future seasons that had the potential to give the couple a happier ending.

Bed Spread (8.1)

Doug and Carrie talking in bed together on King of Queens.

After Doug and Carrie's shared bed breaks, they decide to temporarily opt for a set of twins that Deacon's kids no longer need. Sleeping in separate beds has them doing more activities alone and becoming overall happier, however, they start to worry that this means there's something wrong with them as a couple. The merging subplot has Arthur spying on the neighbors after he discovers a secret window in his basement bedroom. Let's just say that eavesdropping never ends well.

The humor in the Season 5 finale was crazily relatable. Additionally, we all loved watching Doug and Carrie's dysfunctional relationship get played to its fullest.

China Syndrom, Part 1 and 2 (8.4)

Carrie was supposed to rid of her Manhattan apartment... emphasis on the words supposed to. When Doug finds out that this doesn't happen, he concludes that they should divorce. Carrie's not on board with this idea and instead wishes to just adopt a child from China like they had planned. The pair rushes toward Asia to beat one another to the adoption, however, they work things out and bring the child home together. Carrie also finds out that she is pregnant. As these events play out, Arthur falls faster for Ava St. Clair who leaves him just before his wedding. He instead marries Spence's mom in a turn of events. A flash-forward shows Doug and Carrie caring for their newly chaotic household and Arthur announcing that the marriage didn't work and that he's moving back in.

These plotlines left the show on a note that was both familiar yet new. It was satisfying to see the Heffernan household finally become complete.

Shrink Wrap (8.5)

Carrie and her dad always find themselves in squabbles, and so Arthur goes to a therapist to figure out what causes him to yell so much. He finds out that his issues come from childhood as his own father acted poorly toward him.

This has Doug and Carrie meeting with a therapist to recount their own problems, which they believe also stemmed from childhood. The Season 4 episode unfolded itself in a hilarious way and the acting was as top-notch as usual. Ben Stiller stepped in to guest star as Arthur's father, and we're definitely not arguing with that apperance either.

Awful Bigamy (8.7)

Deacon Palmer King of Queens

This episode isn’t just one of the highest-rated season finales. In fact, it’s also one of the overall highest-rated episodes.

Season 6's Awful Bigamy has Holly moving in with the Heffernan's after she is evicted from her own place. Doug realizes this has its advantages and soon deems Holly his "downstairs wife" and Carrie his "upstairs wife." In other words, Holly cooks for him and Carrie gets it on with him. The trouble comes for Doug when the women soon catch on to his schemes.
