Kourtney Kardashian recently discussed The Kardashians and her day-to-day with hubby Travis Barker and her work-life balance never seemed better. Throughout the years, Kim and Khloé Kardashian gave Kourtney a lot of flack for being a freeloader of the family's success. Kourtney always said her relationship with Scott Disick was the backbone of Keeping Up With The Kardashians; however, making her romantic life so open to the public only did her harm. Now that Kourtney's setting major boundaries with her family and filming, she seems happier than ever.

Kourtney may not live to work like Kim, but her sisters might learn something from their eldest sister. While Kim is definitely in a secure and happy place, Kourtney seems the most buoyant and fulfilled of all her sisters. She told Amanda Hirsch on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, "like I love having my little bubble like they say protect your energy like I just like to be in my own little world." Splitting time between her and Travis's houses, taking endless trips to Disneyland, and focusing on her health have done her wonders. While The Kardashians season 2, episode 1 centered on Khloé's outright and understandable misery amid Tristan Thompson's latest cheating scandal, episode 2 focused on a remarkably cheerful Kourtney. Kourtney's recovery after draining IVF treatments and ability to embrace a more curvaceous body reinforced Kourtney's resiliency and comfort in her own skin.

Falling in love would make anyone happy. However, Kourtney's setting of boundaries and self-awareness brought her a lot of balance. Amanda commented, "That was your issue with the show then you felt like you were forced." Kourtney agreed, adding, "at that time, it was also we are filming five days a week, and we don't need to." Kourtney, who has body positivity, then revisited the work ethic digs and pointed out the filming could be accomplished in less time, and she could have time for the things that feed her soul, "like being a mom, taking [her] kids to school, working out." She also emphasized that the way they are doing it now doesn't even feel like filming. "I'm living my life, and I barely notice that they're even there, and when they are there, it's super fun." Kourtney's happy, and Kim's finally let go of the work ethic criticism.

Kourtney's work schedule is now in a flow that fits naturally with her family's morning and evening routines and her private time with Travis. "There are exceptions where I won't be putting them to bed, but I will be up carpooling in the morning!" Amanda emphasized that Kourtney seemed so much happier and asked what it was beyond Travis. Kourtney, who has a new wellness gummy brand, said being in a healthy relationship does reflect on every area of her life. But having a healthy relationship with herself was just as important.

The documentary filming style of The Kardashians appears positive, and Kourtney's work life seems to be in balance. She's doing what she'd do anyway, going to doctor's appointments, getting engaged, making dinner, etc. Production isn't manufacturing her routine but falling in line with it. It seems like Khloé and Kim would benefit from getting to know the new Kourtney. Good vibes radiate off Kourtney, and it's a joy to watch her thrive.
