The Kardashians fans are calling out Kendall Jenner after she jumped to Scott Disick's defense when her sister Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker got engaged on a new episode of the show. Fans were so excited to finally see what went down when Blink-182 drummer proposed to Kourtney back in October. During the newest episode of the reality series, viewers finally got a rundown of the special day, including Scott's reaction to the news. Luckily, Scott reacted much better than anyone expected him to. Unfortunately, Kourtney's children were very hurt that they weren't invited to the post-proposal surprise party that the rest of the family, including Travis' kids, were invited to.

During the party, Kourtney and her sisters went off to a side room where Kourtney told her kids about the engagement, prompting her 9-year-old daughter Penelope to burst into tears and hang up. The mother of three's sisters joined her in the room, where they tried to comfort her and also discussed how Scott felt about the situation. Kendall immediately put her sister on the spot, asking her if she has sympathy for her ex and then telling her that from an outside perspective, it doesn't seem like she cares about him. Kourtney explained that she does care about Scott and his emotions, but she doesn't think she should have to sacrifice her excitement over her new engagement to make him feel better.

Fans of The Kardashians seem to feel the same way as they're now calling out Kendall for taking Scott's side instead of being happy for her sister. Twitter user @Bayrun96 posted the episode clip and expressed his disappointment in Kendall for bringing up Scott instead of letting Kourtney celebrate her engagement with their family. "Sorry but Kendall is not a good sister, like how are you gonna bring up my baby daddy (who i broke up with 5 yrs ago, and who was a terrible partner to me for 7yrs) minutes after I got engaged," the fan wrote. "thank god Kim jumped in, n shut the convo down for Kourtney." After Kendall mentioned Scott and Kourtney defended herself, Kim quickly backed her older sister up, reminding her that Scott has had years to get over their relationship and she shouldn't have to feel sorry for him on her special day.

Many other fans agreed that it was out of line for Kendall to bring up Scott when Kourtney should have been celebrating. Fans also questioned why Kendall was so concerned about him when she and Scott aren't even that close. "Kourtney goes above and beyond to make sure that Scott's okay but wtf? How dare Kendall do this to her sister on the day she gets engaged? That's really messed up," @thatladyMissa replied. Despite Kendall's concern, it was her sister Khloe who went to check on Scott the following day to see if he was okay. Luckily, he was taking the news pretty well and was happy the engagement didn't take place at another time in his life when he would have been devastated.

While it's nice for Kendall to consider Scott's feelings, which most of the family did, Kourtney had every right to make the day about herself. The star shouldn't have to sacrifice her happiness because of her ex, who didn't treat her right while they were together. Kendall may not have meant to hurt her sister, but her comments definitely came across as disrespectful. Luckily, Kourtney went on to enjoy her day and didn't let Scott interfere with her and Travis' happiness.
