With The Kardashians season 2 coming to a close, more eyes are on the famous family than ever, and fans are questioning Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner's social media posts. While the season has shown fans an insight into the Kardashians' most personal moments, many have been confused by the actions of the sisters lately. All of the Kardashian sisters are incredibly active across social media platforms, where they share content that documents their very public lives.
Both Khloé and Kylie welcomed sons in 2022; Kylie with Travis Scott in February, and Khloé with Tristan Thompson via surrogate in July. Though both of their 4-year-old daughters, Stormi Webster and True Thompson, have been heavily featured on their mothers respective Instagram accounts since birth, neither Khloé nor Kylie have posted photos revealing their sons' faces yet. While Khloé, who is co-parenting with Tristan, boasts over 280 million followers, Kylie has over 370 million followers on Instagram alone. The sisters have never been shy when it comes to posting about their lives or their children, which has led fans like luanda16 on Reddit to confusion about why they have yet to post their sons.
Why Are Khloé Kardashian & Kylie Jenner Hiding Their Sons’ Faces?
The Kardashians fans are confused to see Khloé and Kylie purposefully hiding their sons’ from the public, while continually posting their daughters on their Instagram accounts. Though it is the parent’s choice whether or not their child’s faces are posted publicly, many are simply confused as to why they feel comfortable posting one child’s face over another. Some feel this is Khloé and Kylie looking out for their children’s privacy, while others view it as a bit darker of a choice. Reddit user luanda16 explained succinctly, “Because the exploitation of girls/women in this family is a pattern of behavior. It’s their thing.”
Though many are of the mind that Kylie and Khloé are hiding their children’s faces on social media due to a larger scheme, some feel it is merely to keep them safe. Reddit user sillybutter explained, “Sorry but as a mom i think it’s just an attempt to protect [them],” while recollectionsmayvary countered with, “I’ve said this since last summer- the girl kids in the family are on the same trajectory as the sisters. The kardashians only know the business of exploitation...It’s the currency they trade in.” Kylie, who took a break from social media after her son’s birth, posts more frequently about her businesses and brands than her family, but when she does more personally, her daughter Stormi is nearly always involved. She has even created lines of makeup and body products based around her daughter, but still has yet to share her son’s name, let alone photo.
Unlike Kylie, Khloé is a bit more confounding to fans, as she posts content with her daughter True frequently, but still manages to keep the cameras off her son thus far. Many are curious if this is a matter of safety, or if the sisters are putting a higher value on their sons’ privacy over their daughters. While fans may never know the exact reason for the sisters keeping their sons hidden, we may see them in The Kardashians season 3.
