The show was a tremendous success and ended up spawning two movies as well due to its popularity, with every single episode delivering with amazing comedy.

The Inbetweeners only actually had 18 episodes, so the fact it went on to become as big as it did is a real testament to how good the product is, and within this list, we will rank each episode from worst to best, according to IMDb.

First Day (7.8)

You wouldn't think The Inbetweeners would have gone on to have had as much success as it did considering the fact that the lowest-rated episode of the show was actually the first episode of the series, titled 'First Day,' gaining an IMDb rating of 7.8

Although, it does showcase how much better the show ends up getting. After relocating, the posh Will McKenzie ends up leaving private school and enrolling into a local comprehensive, and right from the start, it is clear he sticks out like a sore thumb.

As he bonds with Jay, Neil, and Simon, it seems like things might be okay. But when he gets to the pub and ends up grassing up the entire school about the fact they are underage and shouldn't be drinking.

Night Out In London (8.0)

Next on the list is the episode 'Night Out In London' which comes from the second season of the show and was rated 8.0 by IMDb, with the group making the decision that they needed to become clubbers, and they head to London to do just that.

They try to get into the best club possible, but because Simon is wearing trainers he won't get allowed in. He then desperately tries to find shoes and ends up swapping his new trainers with a homeless person.

However, when they get inside things don't get much better. Neil cuts his private area by weeing into a can, and as Jay inspects the damage they are caught and kicked out, only to find Simon's car has been clamped.

Girlfriend (8.0)

Back to season one now, with the episode 'Girlfriend,' which was rated 8.0 by IMDb and it sees the focus be placed on Charlotte Hinchcliffe, who is seen as the most desired girl in the entire school.

To the shock of Will and the annoyance of the rest of the group, he somehow manages to get on perfectly well with Charlotte, although she dates the school bully, Mark Donovan, much to the annoyance of Will.

Yet at a party later on in the episode Will ends up in bed with Charlotte, creating one of the most awkward romantic experiences you are ever likely to see on television.

The Duke Of Edinburgh Awards (8.1)

The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme is something all English high schools get the chance to participate in, and in The Inbetweeners, Will is asked to co-ordinate it for the school, and of course, he recruits the rest of the group to help.

In their first task, they volunteer at an old folks' home, but due to Jay's despicable behavior, they end up getting kicked off the scheme for good. This is one of the less memorable episodes of the show, which is why it is rightfully rated lower down by IMDb.

Xmas Party (8.1)

In season one, Will is put in charge of organizing the end of term Christmas party and once again he ropes in the rest of the group to help him, with Jay winding up doing the DJ'ing for the entire party, thinking it will help attract women.

Simon takes the opportunity to publicly declare his love for Carli D'Amato, which is about as embarrassing as it sounds, but not nearly as embarrassing as the outfits that they all decide to wear, in what is a hilarious Chrismas based episode.

Work Experience (8.1)

In season two, the group are all made to go on work experience, creating an episode which is titled 'Work Experience,' and was rated 8.1 by IMDb. As expected, all four of the main group don't have the best of times away in the working world.

Will is stuck in a garage, which isn't where he wanted to work and he ends up being the victim of an initiation ceremony which leads to him being thrown into a pond after getting stripped down.

Away from that, the rest of the group all also have tough experiences, with each man getting humiliated at some point during the ordeal.

Will's Dilemma (8.1)

In this episode, which was rated 8.1 by IMDb, the group celebrates Neil's eighteenth birthday, with a very depressing party that his father throws, with ten friends invited and the rest being family.

Simon arranges for Will to double date Tara's incredibly tall friend at the party, and he tries all night to shake her off to no avail until he decides to dump her in the middle of the party.

What Will doesn't know, is that her father has just died, which leads her to burst out in tears while the rest of the onlookers seriously judge him for his actions.

Will's Birthday (8.1)

While the previous example focused on Neil's birthday, this episode which was also rated 8.1 focuses on Will's seventeenth birthday in the previous season, where he plans a dinner party.

However, his party clashes with a popular party on the same night and they end up trying to get into this party, using any means necessary, from climbing the fence to crawling through a gap underneath, which has dog poo on the other side of it.

It's a fantastic and hilarious episode of the show, which of course, ends disastrously for all four of them as they continued to be the uncool kids in the year.

Thorpe Park (8.2)

Throughout The Inbetweeners, the group end up leaving the usual school setting several times and one of the best moments was when the group went to one of the U.K.'s biggest theme parks, Thorpe Park.

After Simon passes his driving test, mainly because the examiner finds him cute, he promises to take the group on a road trip to the park, however, it quickly becomes clear he isn't a great driver and his car door actually gets taken off in the car park.

This leads to him carrying the door around the park throughout the trip, which culminates in Will accidentally offending a group of disabled people who end up trashing his car as revenge.

Caravan Club (8.3)

Speaking of an episode spent outside the school setting, in season one the group go to the Caravan Club in a hilarious episode that scored an 8.3 rating on IMDb. After Jay promises that it is full of hot girls who just want to fool around, they all decide to go.

As they spend the weekend with Jay's parents, it becomes clear that Jay lied about how much success he had with the ladies at the Caravan Club, with his own father embarrassing him throughout the weekend.

However, Simon and Neil do end up getting a little bit of action, although, in typical Inbetweeners fashion, things still go very wrong.

Will Is Home Alone (8.3)

Next on the list is the episode 'Will Is Home Alone,' which is ranked 8.3 by IMDb, and sees Neil and Jay destroy a local flower bed right off the bat. When they learn he is home alone for the weekend, he is convinced to throw a party.

This ends up being a complete disaster as they block his toilet, change his Facebook account and then go out and destroy his neighbors garden, however, this time they are caught red-handed.

The next day while nursing a severe hangover, the angry neighbor has them trapped inside the home, banging on the door, demanding answers.

Fashion Show (8.4)

Next on the list is the season three opening episode, titled 'Fashion Show,' which saw Simon take part in a charity event when asked by Carlie, which leads Jay to be frustrated that he wasn't asked, with this episode being rated 8.4.

Will is forced to go against his principles and takes money at the door, with the money for the event going to a popular wheelchair-bound student in the school.

However, the best part of this episode, without a doubt, is when Simon takes to the catwalk, in what is an incredibly skimpy outfit which leads to him letting it all hang out on stage.

The Gig And The Girlfriend (8.4)

In season three, the episode 'The Gig And The Girlfriend' takes place, where Simon takes Tara to a concert in a bid to impress the younger lady, telling her that he can get hold of some drugs, courtesy of Jay.

Of course, in classic Jay fashion, his first attempt at securing the drugs winds up with him buying tea-bags. However, in his second attempt, he does secure some and for the first time, they all smoke some drugs.

However, Will suffers huge side effects and ends up going on to the stage, with his arms out of control, asking for his mummy, which leads to him requesting an ambulance.

Camping Trip (8.5)

The final ever episode of The Inbetweeners scored an 8.5 rating on IMDb and saw the focus be placed on the four main characters alone on a camping trip, which was done as a farewell for the group.

With Simon mad with his family about having to move to Swansea for his father's work, and the group preparing for life after school. However, as ever with the these, it certainly wasn't a simple camping trip as everything goes wrong.

The group decide to text someone from each other's phones, which doesn't end well, while all of Will's possessions end up on the fire instead of wood. However, the highlight here is when Simon's car ends up rolling into the lake, creating a hilarious moment to finish the car that had been part of so many moments on the show.

Exam Time (8.6)

The final episode of season two, titled 'Exam Time,' shows the group in that crunch time when school gets serious as the exam period kicks in for the group. While Simon and Jay are distracted by love, meaning that they don't get any revision done, Will is the total opposite.

Will crams as much revision in as possible staying up until the early hours and staying sane by drinking as many energy drinks as he can get his hands on. However, the comes back to punish him as he has an accident during the exam due to an issue with his bowels.

In the end, both Jay and Simon don't keep their partners either, and the group ends up right where the first started, together again, in the pub with Will holding a bag with his own pants.

Bunk Off (8.6)

In season one, The Inbetweeners took the decision to skip a day of school, which is something that many people do throughout their youth as they decide to get drunk instead, and to nobody's surprise, it doesn't end well.

They get completely drunk during the day and Simon heads to Carli D'amato's house and writes that he loves her, all over her drive-way, which is a decision her parents do not approve of.

However, the funniest part of this episode is when Neil's father catches them drunk in his house, which leads to a brilliant exchange as Simon and Will's parents then find out what has happened, making matters even worse.

The Field Trip (8.6)

One of the funniest episodes of the entire series is 'The Field Trip,' which was rated 8.6 by IMDb and saw the year group head to the Dorset coast for a trip, with Jay searching for a mythical woman who supposedly fools around with schoolboys.

Of course, that was a classic lie, but what wasn't a lie was that one of the teachers ended up being a paedophile and quickly became a fan of Neil, going as far as to give him a rub down in the room.

However, when the group take a boat to the bay and Simon falls in after the rest mess around, that is when the huge comedy begins. Simon ends up naked in front of the entire coach party with just a sock as they shoot up a flare to be saved.

Trip To Warwick (8.6)

The greatest episode of The Inbetweeners, according to IMDb, is titled 'Trip To Warwick,' which was rated at 8.6 and is the moment where Simon goes to visit his girlfriend, Tara at Warwick University with the sole purpose being for them to make love.

He ends up taking all the boys with him, which gets things off to a bad start, and after they all decide to get involved with the drinking games of Tara's sisters' roommates, things start to go very wrong.

With Simon having trouble with his manhood due to bad advice from Jay, things get even worse when Neil ends up wetting the bed and Jay makes an indecent proposal to a Dutch girl, which leads to them all being thrown out.
