Spencer and Stephanie Pratt are definitely a memorable duo from The Hills. Spencer was instantly identified as the villain in the reality TV series and Stephanie was, well, undetermined. Spencer changed things up in the show in a big way. He alienated the star of the show's best friend, Heidi, and ultimately made a lot of enemies. Meanwhile, his sister Stephanie just wanted to be liked and maybe had a flair for drama.

Each sibling definitely took turns stirring the pot and affecting LC and friends in some way or another. Here are five of the worst things Stephanie ever did, and five of the worst things Spencer ever did.

Stephanie: When She's Initially Aggressive Towards LC

Stephanie gets off the wrong foot with Lauren when she runs into her at a night club in LA. She goes out of her way to find Lauren and to instigates a fight. Stephanie aggressively lets Lauren know that she hates her since Lauren hates her brother, Spencer.

Honestly, none of this was Stephanie's business and there was no reason for her to go out of her way to call Lauren out. Stephanie came off looking like she was desperate for drama and picking a fight just to get some air-time.

Spencer: When He Sets Brody Up With Jen Bunney

Ah, the infamous Jen Bunney drama. It all started when Spencer knew that Brody was having a thing with LC but still encouraged him to get together with Lauren's close friend, Jen Bunney. Of course, Spencer was just trying to stir the pot and secure his role as the biggest villain in reality TV. Unfortunately, Brody seemed to go along with it and Lauren got hurt and lost a friend in the process.

Ultimately, both Brody and Jen made their own decisions and should be held accountable for that, but Spencer was a bad friend at this moment for sure.

Stephanie: When She Dates Doug

Stephanie and Lauren were just getting into the groove of things and becoming good friends when Stephanie decided to cause some drama and get involved with Doug, a guy that Lauren was casually dating at the time. Stephanie and Lauren's mutual friends even warned Stephanie that getting involved with Doug would be hurtful to Lauren, but she didn't seem to care much.

Stephanie continued to see Doug even if that meant upsetting Lauren. While Lauren didn't necessarily have "dibs" on Doug by any means, Stephanie should have reevaluated the minute she knew she'd be putting a friendship on the line.

Spencer: When He Puts Heidi's Job In Jeopardy

Heidi invited Spencer to one of her work events where her boss's partner, Sam, would be present. Heidi was already drinking when Spencer arrived so while she was already losing any appearance of professionalism, Spencer just made things even worse. When the duo came across Sam, it was clear they were both drinking and Spencer was extremely disrespectful towards him.

Heidi ultimately lost her job at Bolthouse because of this night, and while this was purely her own fault, Spencer was a bad influence and definitely sealed the deal that Heidi would be let go.

Stephanie: When She Doesn't Do Her Best At People's Revolution

While fans never see Lauren do much of any actual work at People's Revolution, she allegedly worked there and pulled some strings to get Stephanie hired there as well. However, it's clear the Stephanie didn't have the best work ethic at the time and she ended up upsetting their boss, Kelly Cutrone. Kelly instructed LC to fire Stephanie which really put Lauren in an awkward position.

Not only did Stephanie put her in a position where she had to fire one of her close friends, but she also made Lauren look bad to her boss by initially recommending Stephanie in the first place.

Spencer: When He Doesn't Try Hard Enough With Heidi's Family

There are numerous times throughout the series where Heidi's family pleads with her to break up with Spencer, and this doesn't come unwarranted. Spencer was often aloof when it came to Heidi's family, he didn't try hard enough to impress them or win them over by any means.

This isn't to suggest that Spencer shouldn't be himself around them, but he could have at least put forth a little effort to help put Mama Montag's mind at ease. All Heidi's family wanted was to know that she was in good hands and the duo often failed to offer her family that reassurance.

Stephanie: When She Does Spencer's Dirty Work To Get Heidi Back

Spencer and Heidi from The Hills

While Heidi and Spencer are on a break, Stephanie drops a few hints about Spencer in an effort to convince Heidi to go back to him. Stephanie knows better than anyone else what Spencer has done in the past and she knows full well that he might not be the best match for Heidi.

You would think that Stephanie would want what's best for her friend and that she wouldn't let her own personal agenda get in the way, but perhaps she was blinded by family love? Either way, she gives Heidi her two cents about the topic and it seems to work as Speidi does eventually get back together.

Spencer: When He Tells Holly That She's Unwelcome In Their Apartment

Spencer has definitely secured the role of a reality TV villain at this point. Heidi lets her sister Holly move in with her and Spencer for a little while and as you can probably remember/guess, Spencer is not a happy camper. Spencer is never okay with this, even for a few days as a favor to Heidi.

It eventually gets to the point where he literally tells Holly that she is not welcome at their apartment. Of course, Heidi had no idea that Spencer said this to Holly, and both sisters end up pretty hurt by the situation.

Stephanie: When She Tries To Convince LC To Be Friends With Heidi Again

Here's Stephanie trying to meddle in her friends' lives for her own personal gain again. Stephanie urged Lauren to suddenly make amends with Heidi because she wanted to please Heidi by getting LC at Spencer and Heidi's wedding. Of course, Lauren had no intention of mending her friendship with Heidi and really didn't want to attend Speidi's wedding.

Lauren basically told Stephanie to stop asking her to forgive Heidi, because it just wasn't going to happen. Stephanie was definitely a bad friend to Lauren at this moment as she knew that Lauren wasn't comfortable having Heidi in her life, but she pushed her on the matter anyway.

Spencer: When He Threatens To Disown Stephanie If She Stays Friends With LC

Spencer definitely takes things too far when he tells Stephanie that he will cut ties with her if she stays friends with Lauren. This just a bit dramatic, right? Is old friendship drama really a big enough deal to let it affect family?

Apparently Spencer thought so and this entire discussion ended up making Stephanie cry, which Spencer wasn't very kind about either. While Stephanie is not exactly innocent in all of this, she didn't deserve the threat of being cut out of the family.
