Throughout the CW's run on The Flash, we've seen many of DC's greatest heroes and villains team up or face off with the scarlet speedster in one way or another. Most recently, we've seen Hartley Sawyer take the mantle of Elongated man and a nod to John Stewart in the Elseworlds crossover in 2018.

With thousands of DC heroes that have yet to make their debut in the Arrowverse, and the high popularity of Barry Allen in comics, here are 10 heroes we'd like to see in the show in season 7.

Green Lantern (John Stewart)

With the new Green Lantern show quickly gaining publicity, it is unlikely we will see Hal Jordan in the Arrowverse any time soon, so we'll have to settle for the second most famous of the Green Lanterns, John Stewart. John is the third human Green Lantern to take the mantle after Alan Scott and Hal Jordan and is one of the most powerful. Gaining popularity from the animated series in 2002, John is well known in DC and well-respected.

Stewart has technically been in the Arrowverse since the first season of Arrow with John Diggle who has recently revealed his stepfather's surname is Stewart and he refuses to take the last name due to his dislike for his stepfather. This would be a smooth transition for the character and the writers who might use this to keep John alive following Arrow's final season.

Avery Ho

Avery Ho Flash in DC comics

The Flash has done a great job of introducing speedsters from the Flash mythos including Jay Garrick, Jesse Quick, The Rival, Godspeed, Wally West, even XS. Introducing one of the newest members of the Flash family would be great for diverse representation and an overall great nod to Flash comics. Avery Ho became a speedster in the same speed force storm that gave Godspeed his powers and was trained by Barry to become the Flash of China.

Avery has a great and heroic mindset, helping those in need and only using her powers for good. She quickly got the hang of being a hero and even became the Flash of China, joining the Justice League of China. She has her own unique costume that would look great on the small screen, fighting alongside her mentor.

Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes)

Another great character that would represent diversity beautifully is the Blue Beetle. Similar to Iron Man in Marvel, Blue Beetle sports a high tech suit with several weapons and gadgets that make him a valuable adversary to Team Flash. Unlike Iron Man, the Blue Beetle suit comes from high tech alien technology that protects Jaime at all costs and helps him fight some of DC's greatest villains.

As the youngest incarnation of the Blue Beetle mantle, Jaime has mostly been known for his time in the Teen Titans but it doesn't mean he still can't make a great hero in the Arrowverse.

Booster Gold

Superhero Movies Booster Gold

With time travel being a constant theme on the Flash, the most recent example in Season 6 when Barry sees the future to see how he dies in the crisis, what better hero to help him guide through the future than Booster Gold. Born in the 25th century, all the current heroes are legends to Booster as most of the current Arrowverse events are history to him.

It would be huge for Barry to finally have a time traveler on his side as many travelers in the past have only been sent to cause destruction to Central City. Add in the fact he's best known for his comic relief, it would be fun to see his interactions with the team.

Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner)

Kyle Rayner is another well known Green Lantern who got his powers and discovered the White Lantern ring. In the comics due to his youth is better known as being associated with Wally West and Connor Hawke but he is every bit as powerful with his ring as any other Lantern.

Known for helping the Flash (Wally West), Rayner is no stranger to the weirdness Central City brings and can make a great adversary for Team Flash. His loyalty, willingness to put other's needs in front of his, put him right there with Barry as a great hero. As a Mexican-American, Kyle Rayner is another hero that represents diversity.

Shazam

Shazam Comic Smile Art

Shazam has been teased in the Arrowverse for a long time and making his appearance on the Flash is the best possible way he can make his Arrowverse debut. With powers that rival Superman's Shazam is one of the most powerful DC heroes and is comically only 12 years old.

Barry unlike many of the other heroes is great at working with kids and those younger than him due to his empathy and overall warm nature. This is great for Billy Batson who consistently shows his immaturity during a fight and his inexperience taking things seriously, much like we've seen in Ralph Dibney on the show. Add in that Billy Batson is a talented reporter, his eye for investigating would even rival Iris'.

Cyborg

Half man, half-machine, all hero, Cyborg is one of the most popular DC Heroes that hasn't even been mentioned in the Arrowverse. As a machine, Cyborg is able to hack any computer in the world as well as use high tech alien weapons that could do some serious damage.

His hacking skills are better than Felicity Smoaks and Cisco's combined, so fitting in with the team would be no problem. Add in the fact we haven't seen anything like Cyborg in the Arrowverse, it would be interesting to see how they portray Cyborg and all his robotic limbs.

Dr. Fate (Kent Nelson)

Doctor Fate using his powers in DC Comics.

Similar to what we've seen in Alchemy in season 3 of The Flash, Dr. Fate is an ancient entity that overtakes his host and grants them mystical powers. In this case its Kent Nelson, a member of the Justice Society of America. The Helmet of Fate grants him vast magical powers but without the helmet, Kent's powers are limited to his own sorcery.

On his own, Kent is an accomplished sorcerer and has some knowledge of the mystic arts but is unable to match the powers of Nabu. Like Jay Garrick on the show, Dr. Fate can act as a mentor more than an ally due to his experience as a hero and his thousands of years of knowledge.

Zatanna

Zatanna DC Comics

In the comics, The Flash was one of the first to welcome Zatanna to the Justice League and even had a small crush on Barry. The two had a flirtatious fling for a short time in the comics although nothing major ever came out of it. Zatanna, like Dr.Fate, is a powerful sorcerer who is very gifted and at her young age is a little arrogant. Zatanna's recklessness has often gotten her in trouble and often times butts heads with heroes due to her getting in over her head.

Bringing Zatanna to the Arrowverse by way of The Flash could even open the door to a spinoff due to her popularity and lack of content throughout the small screen. As an ally to Barry, the two could take on just about any villain that rears its head in Central City.

Max Mercury

Max Mercury gravitates to the air in the Flash comics

One of the oldest in the Flash family, Max Mercury is to Wall West what Jay Garrick is to Barry Allen.  After being trapped in the Speed Force for years, The Flash rescues him and attempts to acclimate the speedster to a normal life after it is revealed he had been trapped for almost 30 years.

Although Max Mercury is among the slowest of the speedsters, he has plenty of experience taking down criminals due to his military experience.  As a hero, Max has made a name for himself and is currently one of the only speedsters that don't wear the Flash emblem.
