CW's The Flash has become one of the most popular TV shows airing today. Throughout its seven seasons, fans have seen Barry Allen, played by Grant Gustin, team up with fellow scientists and other heroes stopping villains like Reverse Flash, King Shark, and even Gorilla Grodd, so, it's fair to say the team has been through a lot.

One of the main reasons for the show's success is the phenomenal cast. Given that many of the cast members have powers, you would assume that some of the characters wearing the capes and masks would also be supersized. While some of the cast would tower over most mortals, some however are modestly sized.

Tallest: Barry Allen 6'0"

The Flash Barry Allen

Grant Gustin was given the role of a lifetime when he was cast as the main character Barry Allen in The Flash. Before that, he was primarily known for his roles in Glee and 90210. However, most fans would agree that the casting of Gustin was perfect thanks to his charisma and charm. The speedster is the main character of the show and has been through a lot through the years.

He's fought off the greatest threats to Central City, as well as the speed force itself, and became one of the greatest superheroes in the Arrowverse. At 6'0" tall, Barry is one of the taller members of the team but isn't too big either, something that probably helps his superspeed.

Shortest: Cisco Ramon 5'6"

The Flash Cisco

While one of the smaller cast members in the hit show, Carlos Valdes' Cisco is one of the core members of the team and a great friend to Barry. Although Cisco Ramon is only a mechanical engineer by trade, he is actually capable of pretty much anything he puts his mind to. While he worked at S.T.A.R. Labs during the show, and before, he has invented some pretty cool stuff.

To defeat Thawne he helped create a tachyon accelerator, he invented special glasses to control his powers that allowed him to see through time and space, and he also, and probably most famously, designed all of the Flash's suits. Thanks to his intelligence and intuitiveness, Cisco is the perfect example of mind over matter.

Tallest: Wally West 6'0"

The Flash Wally West

In the show, Keiynan Lonsdale's character is known to the world as Kid Flash, but he, in fact, stands equally as tall as Barry Allen in the show. Wally West is the son of Joe West and younger brother to Iris West, who grew up with his mother and became a drag racing champion with the alias Taillights. However, after his mother passes, he moves in with his father and sister, and eventually, after discovering his powers, also joins Team Flash.

After fighting crime with the Team for a few years, and dating fellow speedster Jesse Wells, Wally was recruited to join the Legends of Tomorrow in their adventures through time. Standing at 6'0", Wally is technically one of the tallest speedsters.

Shortest: Caitlin Snow 5'6"

The Flash Caitlin Snow

Caitlin Snow, also known as Killer Frost after discovering her powers, has had a tough time over the years. She's a brilliant bioengineer and scientist at S.T.A.R. Labs and has gone through a fair amount of trauma in The Flash. Her boyfriend and fellow engineer Ronnie Raymond died in the particle accelerator accident, she had a troubled relationship with her parents, and she inherited uncontrollable and villainous powers where she became known as Killer Frost.

But thanks to her strong personality and extreme courage, she was able to pull through it all, and still become a great hero for Central City, as well as a prominent member of the team. Once again, just like her friend Cisco, proving that height doesn't matter.

Tallest: Dr. Harrison Wells 6'0"

The Flash Harry

After appearing in many hit American shows such as Ed and Love Monkey, Tom Cavanagh joined the cast of The Flash as Dr. Harrison Wells during season 1, and over the years has managed to play multiple versions of the same character thanks to the Multiverse. He started off as a brilliant scientist from Earth 1, who actually had his identity stolen by villain Eobard Thawne, aka Reverse Flash.

We later met Harrison Wells from Earth 2, who stays for the remainder of the show, but we are also introduced to his Multiverse counterparts in the Council of Wells, where we've met a Texas billionaire version, a French detective version, and even dark age wizard-like version of the character, proving just how versatile an actor Cavanagh is.

Shortest: Iris West 5'4"

The Flash Iris

Played by Candice Patton, Iris West is a journalist and prominent member of the team throughout the show. Although she doesn't have any powers, when the team needed someone to step up and help, Iris was always the one to do so. Following Barry's disappearance into the Speed Force, Iris became the team leader in his absence, and she kept this role even after he returned.

She was particularly helpful in defeating villains like DeVoe and Cicada, and even temporarily gained superspeed powers from Barry during an encounter with Melting Point. Despite her small stature, Iris never let anyway tread on her toes and didn't let her height get in the way of getting what she wanted.

Tallest: Joe West 6'1"

The Flash Joe West

One of the most known actors in the show, Jesse L. Martin plays police captain Joe West in the show, but also, and probably more importantly, is the main father figure for Barry Allen since his childhood. Jesse has played many prolific roles in the past, ranging from the series Law & Order to the Broadway musical Rent, and he yet again excels in The Flash.

As a police captain, a strong and controlling image is necessary for commanding control and respect, but this doesn't stop Joe from showing his softer and kind-hearted self, especially when it comes to Iris, his daughter, and Barry. He's a great character and a tall one at that.

Shortest: Nora West-Allen 5'1/2"

The Flash Nora

Nora West-Allen, also known as XS, is a speedster and time traveler from 2049, who travels back in time to meet her parents, Barry Allen and Iris West. After meeting her parents, Nora became a significant member of Team Flash, and thanks to her speedster abilities, was a great help in defeating Cicada during season 5.

When the truth was revealed, that Nora was actually working with Eobard Thorne from the future, we thought it was all going to go wrong for the time-traveling daughter, but thanks to her heroic act in the finale, she redeemed herself and proved that height is not essential for becoming a hero.

Tallest: Ralph Dibny 6'3"

The Flash Ralph Dibny

Played by Hartley Sawyer, Ralph Dibny joined the show halfway through season 4 as a private investigator and ex-police detective. It is then where we found out that Ralph was also struck by the same lightning as Barry Allen, and too had powers. However, unlike The Flash, Ralph had a very unique power: the ability to stretch.

Known thereafter as The Elongated Man, Ralph, after some convincing from Barry, agreed to join Team Flash and help them solve crime and defeat villains around the city. Given his ability, his towering height is no surprise, and it perfectly fits the character, who after all is entirely dependent on his size.

Shortest: Cecile Horton 5'0"

The Flash Season 4 Cecile Horton and Joe West

The former district attorney of Central City, and now girlfriend to Joe West, Cecile Horton became an essential part of the Flash team towards the final few seasons thanks to her bad-ass lawyer skills and the surprising introduction of her telepathy powers discovered whilst she was pregnant in season 6.

Almost like the mother of the team, Cecile never relied on her height to assert her dominance in the courtroom, that was thanks to her intelligence and other personality traits. When her pregnancy activated her telepathic powers, nothing could stop her. After all, they say the best things come in small packages.
